CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 2 (25-18, 25-22, 16-25, 19-25, 15-13)
Some things never change.
It’s always a war when the neighboring rivals meet, and Tuesday night’s showdown was no exception as the Patriots, after winning the first two sets, dropped the next two before edging the Bucks in the fifth set to win the grueling match.
East received double-digit kill efforts from three players in an impressive showing at the net. Reid Miller (18 kills, 3 blocks, 7 digs) led the way while Evan Blank added 14 kills, 12 digs, one ace and block, and AJ Helveston had 12 kills, five assists, one block and two digs. Shane Sutton was also a force at the net with seven kills, three blocks and one dig. Tommy LeFever (2 kills, 1 assist, 3 blocks), Rhys Marshall (2 digs, 1 ace) and Kyle Knorr (3 assists, 2 aces, 9 digs) also contributed.
For the Bucks, setter Liam Boyle dished out 37 assists and also had 11 digs and seven kills. Logan McHenry’s 11 kills led the Bucks at the net. Also contributing were Cooper Tyksinski (9 kills), Dean Nguyen (9 kills, 12 digs), Christian Woo (6 kills, 2 aces) and Hayden Morocco (5 kills). Caleb Woodring’s 17 digs led the West defense.

CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 3, QUAKERTOWN 0 (25-19, 25-16, 25-17)
The Titans hosted the Panthers and won in straight sets 3-0.
"All three middles were fantastic tonight,” South coach Dave Schlosser said. “The blocking and offense were exceptional. William Nothum, Brady Cocca did an excellent job tonight. They have been the rock of our offense this season. Our third middle, who also plays right side, Ryan Brennan, played just as well tonight with some key blocks and some of the best kills of his career. I was very pleased.
"That being said, the setters are the ones to make that happen. Gavin Roth and Sam Snyder were track stars tonight, chasing down every ball within their reach and turning bad passes into amazing sets. Even Sophomore setter Javi Robayo, who got the first varsity minutes of his career, was on his game chasing down tough digs or passes.
"Gavin Roth was doing everything tonight. He set, hit and passed. He played decent defense and put up a solid block. He's having a great season. Chase Stripling, normally a libero, was thrown into an outside hitting position and played very well. He also had two great serving runs in the match.

For the Panthers, Miles Longacre contributed four kills, one block and three digs while Owen Williams had four kills and nine digs. Sean Gillin handed out eight assists and also had one kill, one ace and five digs. Owen Reinford contributed two kills, three aces, one block and five digs. Alex Alfar-Diaz had three aces and two digs, and Joey Gianni added two kills and two digs.
Central Bucks South (3-4 SOL) will host Central Bucks West on Thursday, and Quakertown (1-7, 0-7) will travel to Souderton on Thursday.

PENNRIDGE 3, SOUDERTON 0
