Notes: The Knights had a bit of a sluggish start coming off a 5-0 win last night at Pennridge but scored a goal on a penalty corner (Laura Albert to Paige Shearer) with no time left in the first quarter. "It was a pivotal goal coming into the first quarter break with a 1-0 lead because we were a little unhappy with our start." With a 2-0 (2Q goal - Kylie Barwis to Erika Pickford) lead at halftime, Wissahickon scored a quick goal in the third quarter to bring the game to 2-1. The Knights answered back within two minutes (Caleigh Sperling to Grace McGeehan) to extend the lead to 3-1. "That goal really was the difference maker in the second half for our squad. Wissahickon is a team that plays hard and they came out of halftime with good energy. So, it was really key for us to answer back really fast with a goal. Center back Melissa Sessler had a great game for the Knights shutting down a lot of attack attempts by Wissahickon and making great passes out of the backfield to our mids and forwards. Kylie Barwis had a great game for our attack because she consistently re-defended and put relentless pressure on the Wissahickon backs. It was a great win against a top team in District 1 to cap off our week, 3-0."
North Penn record: 11-2-1
