CB South hosted Souderton tonight and won in straight sets 25-20, 25-21, 25-22. South was led offensively by senior Ben Grove with 24 kills, 4 aces and some great passing and defense. Junior setter Gavin Roth had an outstanding night with 44 assists and very few mistakes. "The duo of Grove / Roth really shined tonight. Junior outside hitter Jake Sciscio also really showed up for the team tonight. His 12 kills and solid serving definitely put us over the edge. It was his best match of the year. Everyone on the court contributed to the win." Souderton beat CB South last week in 3 and tonight South returned the favor. Middle hitter William Nothum contributed 8 kills in the match and some key blocks. Senior Ryan Brennen ended the final point of the night with a perfect block to the floor to emphasize the win.
The Titans play Council Rock South tomorrow at home and North Penn Thursday away.
