Plymouth Whitemarsh Comments
Plymouth Whitemarsh picked up its ninth consecutive win on Friday night at host North Penn. Trailing 3-2 after the first quarter, the Colonials defense, led by Junior LSM/Defenseman Isaiah Bainbridge (3CTO, 9GB), Senior Defenseman Frank Lynch (3CTO, 3GB), and Junior Defenseman Chase Welliver (1A, 3CTO, 3GB), held the Knights offense to 1 goal in the remaining three quarters. Sophomore Goalie Mason Best was stellar in net with 10 saves. Once the defense was able to hold their ground, the Colonials offense scored 5 goals to take and hold the lead. At the helm were Sophomore Midfielders Jack Cooper, who had a hat trick, and Drew Strohl who had two goals and an assist. Attackmen Dylan Ippolito and Ben Backenstose each had a goal a piece.
