BASEBALL
Eric Ebert (Council Rock South) contributed an RBI single in Bloomsburg’s 10-5 win over Seton Hall on Saturday. Ebert had a pair of hits in the game.  Joe Crossin (Pennsbury) pitched the final three innings to earn the save. Tony Donofry (Council Rock North) had an RBI groundout in Bloomsburg’s 16-9 loss to Lenoir-Rhyne. 
Freshman Mike Bradstreet (North Penn) made his collegiate debut for the University of Rhode Island against Mississippi State. In two innings of work, Bradstreet allowed two hits and one run while walking none and striking out three.
LaSalle sophomore Jon Gyles (Central Bucks West) was named Philadelphia Big 5 player of the week. Gyles batted .636 (7-for-11) in three games for the Explorers at NC State. Two of his five hits were doubles, and he drove in five runs. He had at least two hits in all three games.
MEN’S BASKETBALL
Senior Thomas Young (Plymouth Whitemarsh) scored 24 points in IUP’s 99-71 win over Slippery Rock on Saturday. He has scored at least 20 points in six of 14 PSAC West games, and he leads IUP with scoring averages of 18.3 in division contests and 16.5 overall. Young hit 10 of 17 shot attempts in the win over Slippery Rock. IUP, ranked sixth in the nation, has won seven in a row and enters next week’s PSAC tournament with a record of 25-2 and 13-1 in the PSAC West.
Senior Ronald Moore (Plymouth Whitemarsh) moved within two assists of Siena’s program assist record (796) with 12 assists in Siena’s 76-51 win over Marist on Senior Day on Sunday. The Saints set a MAAC record with their 17th league win (17-1) and ran their home streak to 35 games – the second longest streak in the nation.
Freshman Jim Connolly (Souderton) scored 12 points in Philadelphia University’s 78-57 win over Nyack. Earlier in the week, Connolly had 10 points, four rebounds and two blocked shots in Philly U’s 76-65 win over Goldey-Beacom. Philadelphia University is ranked #3 in the latest NCAA Division III Regional Poll. Philly U has won 14 in a row and boasts an overall record of 23-6 (15-1 CACC).
Junior Lavoy Allen (Pennsbury) scored 17 points and pulled down 21 rebounds – 9 offensive and 12 defensive – in Temple’s 65-53 win over LaSalle on Sunday.  In Temple’s 49-41 win over Dayton on Thursday, Allen had nine points and a game-high 17 rebounds.
Ryan Washington (Wissahickon) scored 13 points in Kutztown’s 75-68 win over Bloomsburg on Saturday.
Senior Robby Pines (Souderton) had six points and six assists in East Stroudsburg’s 88-74 win over West Chester on Saturday. He is fourth on the school’s all-time assist list. He leads the PSAC with 6.3 assists per game, ranks second in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.3), is third in steals (2.3) and fourth in free throw percentage (78.6) in his only season as a full-time starter. He is fourth on the team with 8.2 points and 4.0 rebounds a game.
Senior Brian Oleksiak (Abington) pulled down a team-high seven rebounds and scored six points in Shippensburg’s 92-84 loss to West Chester on Thursday.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Freshman Heather McHugh (Norristown) scored nine points in Lock Haven’s 78-52 loss to No. 1 Gannon on Saturday. The Lady Eagles finished the season with a 7-18 overall record (2-12 PSAC West). In Lock Haven’s 73-67 loss to Clarion on Wednesday, Jamie Donovan (Central Bucks East) scored 12 points.
Junior Allie Micir (Council Rock North) scored 19 points and pulled down six rebounds in Princeton’s 69-57 win over Colombia on Saturday. Princeton is 23-2 overall (11-0 Ivy League).
Senior Aly Hinton (Council Rock North) contributed seven points and five rebounds in Boston University’s 79-65 win over New Hampshire on Sunday.
Misha Horsey (Cheltenham) scored 13 points and handed out five assists in Stony Brook’s 59-48 win over UMBC on Saturday.
Redshirt sophomore forward Brittany McClain (Harry S. Truman) scored 12 points in East Stroudsburg’s 52-49 loss to Bloomsburg on Thursday.
Senior Antonia Gale (Cheltenham) tied for the team-high with 11 points in LaSalle’s 62-46 loss to Dayton on Saturday. She also had two rebounds and an assist. Junior Ashley Gale (Cheltenham) added nine points, a team-high five rebounds, four assists and three steals.
MEN’S LACROSSE
Freshman Mike Vandegrift (Abington) scored with two seconds left in the opening half of Widener’s game against No. 4 Salisbury on Saturday, pulling the Pride to within one (5-4). Salisbury went on to earn a 9-7 win. Sophomore Johnny Casey (Abington) also had a goal. Casey is coming off a season that saw him earn the league’s Rookie of the Year honors. He ended fourth in the league with 40 goals, fifth with five man-up goals, first on the team with 50 points, tied for third with 10 assists and also totaled six hat tricks.
WOMEN’S LACROSSE
Freshman Lauren McDermott (North Penn) scored her second goal of the season in LaSalle’s 15-5 loss to the University of Florida on Tuesday.
Ursinus freshman Elizabeth Chatburn (Upper Dublin) scored her first goal of the season in a 16-11 loss to Stevenson on Saturday. Chatburn finished with five ground balls. Junior attack player Lindsay Urban (Central Bucks East) scored a pair of goals. 
SOFTBALL
Senior Lisamarie Ramagli (Neshaminy) delivered a sacrifice fly to give Shippensburg a 1-0 lead after the international tiebreaker rules began in the eighth inning of Saturday’s game against Glenville State. Shippensburg went on to win 2-1 in nine innings. In Shippensburg’s 6-1 loss to Lenoir-Rhyne, junior Moira Johnsen (Council Rock South) accounted for her team’s only run with a solo home run.
MEN’S SWIMMING
Shippensburg junior Tim Smullen (Upper Dublin) won the consolation final of the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 47.32 seconds while Nate Ryan (Hatboro-Horsham) earned points by touching the wall in 47.87 seconds at the PSAC Championships last weekend. Shippensburg finished third overall.
MEN’S TRACK & FIELD
Lock Haven’s Steve Roberts (Quakertown) finished eighth in the 400-meter dash at the PSAC indoor championships.
Widener senior James Green (North Penn) won the shot put for the third straight year at the Middle Atlantic Conference Indoor Championship this weekend. He tied his own meet record with a throw of 15.62 meters, which is also a provisional qualifying time for nationals. He is the two-time defending MAC champion in the outdoor shot put. Widener captured the team title in the meet. Ryan Gallagher (Neshaminy) was part of the distance medley relay team that finished second with a time of 10:42.48.
Abu Siddique (North Penn) was part of Bloomsburg’s 4x400 relay team that just missed a school record with a time of 3:27.43 at the PSAC indoor championships this weekend. He was also part of the distance medley relay team that finished eighth.
Shippensburg’s Sean Stetler (Central Bucks South) earned an NCAA provisional time in the 5,000-meter run at the PSAC indoor championships with a time of 14.41.77.
WOMEN’S TRACK & FIELD
Lock Haven’s Chrissy Ohmott (Hatboro-Horsham) finished second in the pole vault at the PSAC indoor championships on Saturday with a mark of 11-05.75.
Shippensburg junior Laura Henzy (Neshaminy) finished fourth in the 400 meters at the PSAC indoor championships on Sunday at Edinboro University with a time of 58.51. Freshman Caitlin Stuetz (Cheltenham) finished seventh in the 60-meter dash with a time of 9.24.
Senior Nikita Halteman (North Penn) repeated as the women’s indoor shot put champion, easily winning the title at the Middle Atlantic Conference Indoor Championship with a throw of 12.05 meters. She also won the weight throw by covering 14.57 meters, winning by more than a half meter.
WRESTLING
Shippensburg senior Nate Narouth (Quakertown) finished sixth at the Super Region I Championships at 141 this weekend. In the consolation semifinals, the redshirt senior held a 10-4 advantage in the closing seconds of the second period in his bout with Seton Hall’s Dallas Evans but suffered a leg injury. The injury forced Nauroth to take a medical forfeit and relinquish his chance at reaching nationals. Prior to his injury, Narouth picked up an 8-3 decision win over Newberry’s Deral Brown. The Quakertown native, who spent much of the season ranked third in the region, finished his SU career with an 11-6 record this season.
East Stroudsburg redshirt junior David Luthy (Plymouth Whitemarsh) fell to No. 8 Este Lara from American University 7-1 at this weekend’s Super Region 1 Tournament. He also lost a decision to Shippensburg’s Justin Morris. Luthy was a two-year starter at 125 during his time at ESU. Junior Jesse Dunn (Harry S. Truman) was pressed into action at 174 after redshirt junior Ken Monarque saw his season end due to injury. He lost a 12-5 decision to No. 7 Lewis Spadaro (Harry S. Truman) of Seton Hall. He fell in the consolation match 4-2. Kutztown No. 4 David Zeek (Council Rock North) won an 11-5 decision over East Stroudsburg’s Jeff Jacobs at 165.
