SOFTBALL
Karen Ball (Souderton)
was one of 12 King’s College players named to the Middle Atlantic Conference All-Century Team. As part of the MAC 100 celebration, the Middle Atlantic Conference recognized top athletes from conference history, naming student-athletes to Century Teams in each sport from each era. Eras were delineated based on conference membership and sport sponsorship. Nominees were required to have been an ALL-MAC selection during their collegiate careers. Century Teams were selected from online fan vote combined with the MAC Sports Information Directors vote. As a sophomore at King’s, Ball earned second team all-conference honors and then earned first team all-conference recognition as a junior. As a senior, she rewrote the record books at Kings, earning first team all-conference, conference pitcher of the year, NCAA All-American and Academic All-American.
