BASEBALL
Joe Crane (Council Rock South)
and Joe Mullin (Central Bucks South) were named to Chestnut Hill College’s Athletics Spring 2013 Academic Honor Roll. Those garnering mention achieved a 3.50 GPA or better during the spring semester. Crane is majoring in Middle Level Education, and Mullin is majoring in International Business/Language/Culture.

Penn State Abington junior Will Erskine (North Penn) was named a NEAC Scholar Athlete for the 2012-13 academic year. In order to be selected, a student-athlete must achieve a combined grade point average of 3.4 or higher for the fall and spring semesters and must have been in good standing with his or her team. Twenty-eight total athletes earned this recognition for PSU Abington.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Penn State Abington freshman Jessica Schmidt (Abington) was named a NEAC Scholar Athlete for the 2012-13 academic year. In order to be selected, a student-athlete must achieve a combined grade point average of 3.4 or higher for the fall and spring semesters and must have been in good standing with his or her team.

MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY
Penn State Abington freshman Alexander Kane (Central Bucks East) was named a NEAC Scholar Athlete for the 2012-13 academic year. In order to be selected, a student-athlete must achieve a combined grade point average of 3.4 or higher for the fall and spring semesters and must have been in good standing with his or her team.

FOOTBALL
Randolph-Macon freshman Jesse Knepp (Pennridge) was named to the ODAC All-Academic Team. Eligibility is open to any student-athlete that competes in a conference-sponsored sport, regardless of academic class and achieves at least a 3.25 GPA for the year.

MEN’S LACROSSE
Ryan Hildebrand (Hatboro-Horsham)
was named to Chestnut Hill College’s Athletics Spring 2013 Academic Honor Roll. Those garnering mention achieved a 3.50 GPA or better during the spring semester. Hildebrand is a Management major.

WOMEN’S LACROSSE
Penn State Abington sophomore Tori Kimberly (Central Bucks West) was named a NEAC Scholar Athlete for the 2012-13 academic year. In order to be selected, a student-athlete must achieve a combined grade point average of 3.4 or higher for the fall and spring semesters and must have been in good standing with his or her team.

MEN’S SOCCER
Ross Garabedian (Hatboro-Horsham)
was named to Chestnut Hill College’s Athletics Spring 2013 Academic Honor Roll. Those garnering mention achieved a 3.50 GPA or better during the spring semester. Garabedian is majoring in History (Management).

WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL
Deanna Bianchini (Wissahickon)
was named to Chestnut Hill College’s Athletics Spring 2013 Academic Honor Roll. Those garnering mention achieved a 3.50 GPA or better during the spring semester. Bianchini is majoring in Biology.
