The Flyers Cup is about to begin its 37th tournament this week.

The scholastic ice hockey competition began in 1980 – you remember 1980?  It was the year the Phillies won the World Series – the year the 76ers won the NBA title – the year the Flyers lost in the Stanley Cup finals – and the year the Eagles won the NFC title before losing in the Super Bowl.

Those were the days my friend….and boy they did they ever end.

And the beat goes on…
