Abington's Sam McGee Named US Lacrosse All-American

Abington junior Sam McGee was named 2016 US Lacrosse All-American (Philly region).

Abington junior captain Samantha McGee was named a US Lacrosse All-American. A first team All-SOL American Conference honoree the past two seasons, McGee contributed 85 goals and 22 assists and also had 84 draw controls. She represented the Philadelphia region in the US Lacrosse Women’s National Tournament where she was named a finalist for the Heather Leigh Albert Award presented to the outstanding player. McGee recently competed in the Under Armour Underclass Tournament. She has made a verbal commitment to play lacrosse at St. Joseph’s University.
