National Conference Bergey’s Buick GMC Highlighted Player
Alexis Carroll –
Senior at Council Rock South High School
A three-year varsity starter and letter winner, Carroll also is a two-year captain. The senior midfielder received second team all-league honors as both a sophomore and junior. In 2011, Carroll received the 3-D award for desire, determination and dedication.
Note from the coach:
“Alexis has tremendous speed, work ethic and intensity,” coach Lisa Belz said. “Her leadership on and off the field and desire to win are just a few of her many attributes. She is an excellent role model and will be missed greatly when she graduates.”
About Alexis:
Best memory playing field hockey:
 “When our team beat CR North my junior season – the first time in history.”
Part of the game I enjoy most:  “Always being with my teammates. We are closer than ever during the season, and it makes playing field hockey so much more enjoyable.”
My role models are:  “My parents because they are always there for me no matter what and support my decisions.”
Favorite food:  Nutella with pretzels
Favorite TV show:  One Tree Hill

Continental Conference Bergey’s Buick GMC Highlighted Player
Kim Underkoffler –
Senior at Central Bucks East High School
A key member of East’s defense, Underkoffler plays a vital role in clearing the ball out of the team’s defensive circle and is adept transitioning the ball up the field.
Note from the coach:
“Kim has strong drives and beautiful push passes that allow us to move the ball up the field quickly,” assistant coach Jessica Schlechter said. “Kim has excellent recovery skills – you can count on her to hustle back with speed and poise. She has a great work ethic and always keeps a positive attitude. She works hard in everything she does and sets a great example for her teammates. Kim has made it a priority to make sure the underclassmen feel comfortable, and she keeps the Central Bucks East field hockey team as a whole unified. She is a great supporter of her teammates and is a silent leader on this team.”
About Kim:
Best memory playing field hockey: 
“Meeting my best friends.”
Part of game I enjoy most:  “The sound of the ball slamming into the backboard.”
My role model is:  Lauren Crandall

Amelia Schunder –
Senior at Norristown Area High School
Schunder is a three-year varsity veteran and a two-year captain for the Lady Eagles. She plays in the defensive middie position.
Note from the coach:
“Amelia’s strength is in her fast stick skills,” coach Stacie Staufenberg said. “Now that we are a turf-based team, her stickwork and ability to distribute the ball have really helped our team grow. She is a very smart player and leads on the field by directing and communicating with her teammates. What amazes me most about Amelia is her happy demeanor and quick wit, which helps our team to relax in stressful situations.”
About Amelia:
Best memory playing field hockey: 
“Beating Upper Dublin for the first time last year.”
Part of the game I enjoy most:  “Growing with my teammates during preseason, anticipating the season to come.”
My role model is:  Heather McHugh (NAHS 2008, Lock Haven University 2012). Current Assistant Coach. “She is a great athlete and very motivational.”
