Dan Brady – Senior at William Tennent West High School
The senior forward was a welcome but late arrival on the scene for Tennent. He played spring league with the team but had not played both travel and high school ice hockey. Last year, he joined the high school team and has been a positive addition, supporting the team whether on the ice as a member of the third forward line or on the bench. An excellent student, Brady maintains a 3.2 grade point average.

Note from the coach:
“Dan played spring league with us two years ago and wasn’t sure he could play both travel and high school,” coach Nick D’Aurizio said. “However, he had an infectious positive attitude on the bench during those games that led me to really push to have him join our winter team. He’s the kind of kid you want to do anything you can to get him on your squad because he’s just a good teammate. In order to play, he took a job on his own to help pay for his hockey, and he has had a continuing positive influence on our team ever since.
“We are a very deep team as far as our forwards are concerned this season, and despite not getting as much ice time as he probably would like, he remains one of the most vocal supporters on the bench. He’s earned a role on our third line, and he’s a solid spot on that line, and he’s been there all season long. He works hard every practice and is a great person to be around.  It’s important to have a senior that is leading by example like he does. When he gets his ice time, he gives you everything he has and never complains and always is positive, there’s not many of those types around, and every single team needs one like that.
