Boys' Lacrosse Wrap: 4-12-10

Souderton 11, Central Bucks South 9

Sparked by the six-goal effort of Ridge Schultz, Souderton picked up its third league win in as many outings on Monday. Coach Todd Pettit lauded the strong games at midfield by Graham Gedman (three ground balls) and Nick Judge (seven ground balls). The Indians’ coach also credited the solid defensive play of Brad Sawhill.
J.P. Carroll added a pair of goals for the Indians while Lee Stiles (two assists), Tyler Macdougall and Brian Ziegler each contributed a goal.
Allen Eise led the Titans with three goals and three assists while Kevin Sonderschaffer added two goals and three assists. Luke Dachowski contributed two goals, and Tyler Cliggett added one goal and two assists.
The Indians improved to 3-1 in league play (6-1 overall).
Abington 15, Boyertown 11
The Ghosts led 5-4 at the end of one period and upped that lead to 9-7 at the intermission in Monday’s non-league game against the visiting Bears. They extended that lead to 13-8 heading in the final frame.
Anthony Hensley contributed the hat trick. Nick Piskco, Joe Jones, Matt Rambo, Rich Rambo and Matt Figueroa each contributed two goals. Jones as well as Matt and Rich Rambo also contributed assists. Ryan Ambler contributed a goal and an assist, and Dan Lomady added a goal. Abington goalie Travis O’Connor had six saves.
Central Bucks East 8, Hatboro-Horsham 5
The Patriots upped their SOL mark to 4-0 (4-1 overall) after Monday’s hard-fought win over the Hatters.  The Hatters led 4-3 at the end of one period, but East – which received solid play from its long poles and goalie - scored a pair in the second to go on top 5-4. The Hatters knotted the score in the third period before East won it with three goals in the final period.
Alex Fetterman led East’s attack with three goals while teammates Matt Brodzick, Brendan Coleman, Warren Kuhn, Connor McSherry and Peter Self each added single goals. Brodzick, Westin French, Brian Urban and Chris Vetter each contributed assists.
For the Hatters, Ryan Kreston had a pair of goals and an assist while Brian Ambron, Greg Cutilli and Dominic Defzio added one goal each.
East goalie Harrison Holack turned away 10 shots while Hatboro goalie Dino Vitale had six saves.
Wissahickon 18, Norristown 2
Sean Calhoun scored both goals for the Eagles, using assists from Jake Naseef and Griffin Blake.
