Reasons for choosing the US Naval Academy: “I was considering Stonehill, but I went down to Navy, went on an official visit, and I just fell in love with the school. It’s such a great opportunity.”
What was the progression that led you to playing basketball at the collegiate level? “It’s always been a 
dream of mine to play Division One basketball. As I got older, by my junior year, it started to become more of reality. That’s when it started really setting in, and I started to work a lot harder.”
Coach Dennis Steinly says: “The person is what you look at – he’s a great leader, he’s a great teammate, he holds a team together, and for your captain, that just shows the character and perspective he has of his teammates. He gets it through hard work. The kids see his work ethic, and he leads by example. He treats everyone nicely, and everybody sees the genuine sincerity in the way he treats others.
“As a basketball player, he developed those skills over the four years he was here. He worked hard. He came in, and he was a skinny, timid ninth grader that played varsity because he was good, but he really blossomed this past year. He had some of the best games I’ve seen in this gym in a long time – he had 33 against Souderton and 30 against Coatesville. I’m just so happy for him that he was able to experience some success here. I wish him the best at the Naval Academy.”
