CB East had a terrific day at Liberty High School on Saturday, finishing second to a very strong Whitehall team in the Liberty Hurricanes Volleyball Tournament. East went undefeated in pool play, with wins over Tunkhannock, Easton, and Whitehall. The Patriots then met Liberty in the quarterfinals, and followed that with a win over Holy Redeemer in the semis only to face Whitehall once again in the championship match.
Whitehall won the highly competitive final, 15-12 in the third set.
