The Central Bucks South softball team was recognized at halftime of Friday night’s game for capturing the 2012 PIAA Class AAA title.
It was a reunion of the Central Bucks South softball team on Friday night, and the players and coaches were recognized at halftime of the boys’ basketball game with the presentation of jackets, commemorating the 2012 PIAA Class AAAA title they captured last spring.
The Titans defeated Bishop Shanahan 1-0 in nine innings on June 15, 2012, at Penn State University to win the school’s first ever state softball title. The team’s captains 
– Morgan Decker, Lauren Klepchick and Haileigh Stocks – presented a commemorative plaque that was accepted by CB South Principal Scott Davidheiser and Athletic Director Dave Rackovan.
Coaches and players included Halie Bilker, Hope Darreff, Maddie Decker, Morgan Decker, Carly Dudek, Jae Epstein, Michelle Gessner, Ally Horvath, Lauren Klepchick, Kristyn Marinelli, Sammi Meyers, Kim Rowe, Haileigh Stocks, Alyssa Virginio, Ali Waddington and Heather King (scorekeeper/manager), Dan Hayes (coach) and Victor Volpe (assistant coach).
