Central Bucks South appoints new Softball Head Coach

Central Bucks South High School, located at 1100 Folly Road, is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Rosini as the new head softball coach. Rosini joins the Titan family after two years in the same position at Archbishop Wood High School.

Rosini brings with him a wealth of coaching experience to C.B. South, helping develop student athletes in both softball and baseball in a career that has spanned over 27 years. In addition to his time at Archbishop Wood, Rosini has served as a softball assistant at Millersville University, Elizabethtown College and as the head baseball coach at William Tenant High School.  Rosini was also the assistant varsity baseball coach at Archbishop Wood from 2009-2014.

During his tenure at Wood as softball coach, Rosini oversaw a resurgence of the Vikings’ program. After posting a 6-6 record in the Philadelphia Catholic League (PCL) in 2015, Rosini’s Vikings became a top force in the league in 2016, going 10-2 in league play to earn the No. 2 seed in the PCL Tournament en route to the school’s first PIAA District 12 AAA Championship since 2009.

“We are very excited to welcome Coach Rosini to Central Bucks South,” Athletic Director Danielle Turner said. “We are confident that Coach Rosini will keep the Titans in championship contention while imparting his years of knowledge and experience to our student athletes.”

In addition to his coaching duties, Rosini teaches mathematics at Wood.
