The North Penn, Central Bucks East, Pennridge, Central Bucks West, Neshaminy, Council Rock South and Upper Merion boys’ teams participated in the Central Bucks East Invitational.  The North Penn boys’ captured the team title with the Knights’ Dan Davis (16:5541) capturing the individual crown. The North Penn, Central Bucks East, Central Bucks West, Pennridge, Council Rock South, Upper Merion and Neshaminy girls’ squads participated in the Central Bucks East Invitational.  Central Bucks East won the team title while North Penn’s Meghan McGovern (18:5941) won the individual title. Central Bucks East packed them in against North Penn although North Penn had a strong showing and the number one finisher, but Central Bucks East's four-five-six-seven-eight finish proved to be the difference. Plymouth Whitemarsh rounded out the SOL field in third place.

The Council Rock North, Abington and Wissahickon boys’ teams participated in the Abington Invitational.  The Upper Dublin, Wissahickon and Cheltenham girls’ teams participated in the Abington Invitational. The Abington Invitational saw the Wissahickon girls' team slip into the top 10 and Cheltenham placed 13th. Both programs will look to continue to improve throughout the season.

At Penntrack XC in the Gold girls' race, AAA State Champs Pennsbury were eclipsed by PA #2 West Chester Henderson which appears to be a rivalry in the making. In the blue race, William Tennent finished a strong second behind Daniel Boone.

The Centaur Invite saw Pennridge take the first individual and the fourth place team spot. Conference rival Hatboro-Horsham ranked 17th in a field of 26.

Central Bucks South's Quad X High School Invitational had schools representing many different conferences in which they placed a duo in second and fifth places.

SOL girls' cross country fans will need to be at the Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia on Saturday for its scenic views and sensational competitions. The entry list is a who's who of the SOL: Abington, CB East, CB West, CR North, CR South, Hatboro, Neshaminy, North Penn, Pennridge, Pennsbury, Upper Dublin and William Tennent. This will be a prime opportunity to see how the SOL stacks up against out-of-state teams, cross-district foes, in-district rivals and conference members.
