Godfrey Named Girls Volleyball Coach at CB South

Central Bucks South High School, located at 1100 Folly Rd, Warrington, PA, is pleased to announce that Kurt Godfrey has been named head girls volleyball coach at Central Bucks South. Godfrey served as the program’s Assistant Varsity Coach and Junior Varsity head coach in 2014 and has been elevated to head coach after the retirement of coach Ulana Keer.

Godfrey brings a plethora of coaching experience with him to the head coaching position, as he has been the school’s boys head volleyball coach since 2013. Before assuming that role, Godfrey worked as an assistant for CB South’s boys’ team and also was as an assistant coach for Harcum College.

 “Coach Godfrey has set an excellent example for our student-athletes,” CB South Athletic Director Danielle Turner said. “The energy level he brings to the gym each day is something that will help both our girls and boys volleyball programs thrive.”

In addition to his coaching duties at CB South, Godfrey also coaches club volleyball for the GPS Crush. Godfrey also enjoyed a successful playing career for Pennridge High School from 1999-2003 and also as a member of Shippensburg University’s Men’s Club Team from 2004-2007. Godfrey graduated from Shippensburg in 2007 with a degree in Political Science.
