Brittany Hazard – St. Joseph’s University (Lacrosse)

Major:  Business

Final list of colleges:  St. Joe’s, Monmouth

Reasons for choosing St. Joe’s:  “It was a Philly school, and it was really close to home. I didn’t want to go too far away. I like coach Denise (Roessler). She’s really cool – she’s really into running, she’s really into health, and she’s very into her players. I think she’s close to her players as I talked to the seniors that were there.”

What was the progression that led you to playing collegiate lacrosse?  “I started thinking about playing in college my freshman year of high school when I started playing club and getting lessons. I told my mom I wanted to play D-1, and I started getting recruited my sophomore year.”

Archbishop Carroll coach Lorraine Beers:  “Britt is a hardworking midfielder with excellent attack skills. She is very competitive and will leave it all on the field for her team. Her passion for lacrosse and her work ethic will allow her to be successful at the next level.”
