Needing one more victory to go undefeated in dual meets this year, Lower Moreland's boys and girls cross country teams hosted the Springfield Spartans today at Bryn Athyn. With pictures of the Lion seniors' heads mounted on sticks lining parts of the course, seniors Jack Becker and Siri Hellenbrand appropriately won their respective races. Becker, who broke the school 5K record a few days earlier in an unofficial time of 16:02 at Gettysburg, paced the Lions to a 17-45 victory. While Springfield did not field enough runners for an official team competition, the Lady Lions were dominant, claiming the top four spots, and six of the top seven places.
