Continental Conference Millennium Administrators Highlighted Player
Brianna Cullen – Senior at North Penn High School

Cullen, who transferred to North Penn from Germantown Academy as a junior, has been a consistent contributor on both ends of the court. A versatile player, the senior captain can shoot from the outside or post up her defender.
Note from the coach:
“She’s really grown a lot from last year to this year in every way,” coach Maggie deMarteleire said. “Her leadership has been outstanding. Her play on the court – she’s just been very positive, and she’s been very productive for us on defense and offense. She’s very versatile. She’s good around the basket with her back to the basket, and she’s hitting some three’s this year. We’re just very, very pleased with her development.”

American Conference Millennium Administrators Highlighted Player
Chrissie Mesunas – Senior at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School

A four-year member of the program, the senior has contributed to the success of this year’s PW squad, especially under the backboards and on the defensive end.
Note from the coach:
“Chrissie is the essence of a program player,” coach Daniel Dougherty said. “She was the leader of her freshman team and was the leader of the jayvee team her sophomore year. As a junior, she stepped in as a quality role player off the bench. Halfway through the season, Chrissie suffered a devastating concussion and broken nose during an away game at CB East. She was lost for the rest of the season, the spring and most of the summer battling post-concussion symptoms, but once she was cleared, Chrissie came back better than ever this fall – dedicated to the program and her teammates.
“This year, she has started every game for the varsity and is third on the team in minutes played. In other years and for other teams, Chrissie was featured more as a scorer and shooter, but this year she has embraced the position of defender and rebounder. And when teams lose her in transition or in the halfcourt set, she makes them pay with her three-point shooting. Chrissie is always one of – if not the first on the court before practice working on her shot and game. She is a leader by example and great teammate to have in the locker room. She has demonstrated the attitude of team first that has been critical to our success this year.”
About Chrissie:
Best memory playing basketball:
Hosting our first tipoff tournament this year because we had the opportunity to play great teams and have fun at the same time.
Part of the game I enjoy most:  I enjoy all the games I play with my team because we work together and try our best.
My role model is:  My brother, Tom
Music that gets me pumped before games:  Eminem
Favorite food:  Pasta
Favorite TV show:  Criminal Minds and Flashpoint
Chocolate or vanilla:  Chocolate
