National Conference Millennium Administrators Highlighted Players
Samantha Saifer – Senior at Council Rock North High School
Saifer is the lone senior on the Indians’ roster and is a positive leader as a captain of a young squad.
Note from the coach:
“Sam is a born leader,” coach Lou Palkovics said. “She is not the best athlete on the team, but she is the hardest worker. I, as a coach, can’t hope for any more.
“She has a knack for getting to the ball. She’s a hard worker and a great leader.”
About Samantha:
Best memory playing basketball:My basketball career is full of memories and friendships that I will always cherish, but beating Council Rock South is a moment of pride for not only me but my entire team.
Part of the game I enjoy most: The part of the game I love the most is the rush of adrenaline, the feeling of intensity and competitiveness, and the genuine heart each athlete offers in those fleeting 32 minutes of play.
My role models are:  My parents.
Music that gets me pumped before games: Songs by Drake, Kanye West, and/or Childish Gambino
Favorite food: Mac ‘N Cheese
Favorite TV show: Grey’s Anatomy
Four people I’d invite to a dinner party: Ralph Waldo Emerson, Louis XIV, Kevin Hart, and Beyoncé

Jayda Campbell – Junior at Harry S Truman High School
A three-year varsity veteran, Campbell, who can play either guard or forward, came on strong as the season progressed.
Note from the coach:
“I’ve been working with Jayda since she was in elementary school, so she’s actually one of the three I’ve been working with to try and change the program around,” coach Collette Munford said. “She stands out.
“She’s a leader. She tries to carry the team on her back, which is a hard thing to do, and I tell her she can’t do it  - just play your game. Last year she was my leading scorer, and this year she fell a little short. At the beginning of the season, she had a rough time but was playing well later in the year. She puts too much pressure on herself, and it’s not just about scoring points.
“She has a good shot, and she drives to the basket. She wasn’t a natural talent, and everything she knows, I taught her. She still has a lot to learn, but last year, she was third team all-league, and that’s an accomplishment. She’s a great girl, she’s a great student, and in athletics, she’s come so far.”
About Jayda:
Best memory playing basketball:
When my coach sat me down due to my poor attitude at the time (I learned my lesson).
Part of the game I enjoy most: Helping other people score and playing with my best friends.
My role model is:  Brittany McClain
Music that gets me pumped before games:  J.Cole
Favorite food:  Pancakes
Favorite TV show:  Hit the Floor
Four people I’d invite to a dinner party:  Sabria, Daisha, May, Daeja.

Continental Conference Millennium Administrators Highlighted Players

Lydia Konstanzer - Pennridge High School
A senior captain, Konstanzer, a 6-0 forward, averaged 15.5 points and 14 rebounds for the Lady Rams. She plans to continue her career at Ursinus College.

Note from the coach:
“Lydia is technically a guard, but she had to step into the position of being a post player, and she’s been amazing,” coach Lindsey Tennett said. “Growing up, she was always a point guard, so she has good ball skills and can handle the ball. It’s one of those things she ended up being the tallest on the team, and it’s unfortunate that we had to put her in the middle, but she’s done a heck of a job.
“She’s been key in our games. Most teams front her and have someone help behind her, so basically, she’s doubled all the time.”
About Lydia:
Best memory playing basketball:
My best memory playing basketball was the first game of my senior season. I trained and worked out each day in the offseason and got to see my hard work pay off when we won and I scored 26 points.”
Part of the game I enjoy most:  The best part of the game is when you are facing your opponent one-on-one and you have to challenge yourself and make strong moves to get to the basket.
My role model is:  My older sister Carolyn. She attended Ursinus College where I will head off to next year. She scored over 1,000 career points and led her team to a Continental Conference championship. I hope that I can leave my mark on Ursinus as she did and score 1,000 points so that we can be the first sisters in history on the banner.
Music that gets me pumped before games:  Fetty Wap, Eminem and J.Cole
Favorite food:  Pizza
Favorite TV show:  One Tree Hill
Four people I’d invite to a dinner party:  I would invite Taylor Swift because I’ve been obsessed with her for as long as I can remember. Steph Curry because I would love to hear how he developed into the player he is today. Beyoncé because she is so fierce and I named my car after her, and Adam Sandler because he would bring some great jokes to the table.

Devan Rimmer – Senior at Pennridge High School
A senior captain, Rimmer averaged 13.5 points a game for the Rams. She will be continuing her basketball career at Widener University.
Note from the coach:
“Devan led our team not only verbally – and she did that as well – but by her example,” coach Lindsey Tennett said. “She could always take it to the basket, and this year and last year especially she could also score from the outside. She just had an all-around year the last two years. In games where we struggled to score, she always was someone that could. No matter who played against her, she could always find a way to get points.
“A lot of the girls look up to her because she’s been part of the program for a long time and she’s a good team leader for us.”
About Devan:
Best memory playing basketball:
One of my favorite memories during high school basketball has been the Deep Run Shooting Stars Program. Our team is given the opportunity to work and play basketball with special needs kids in our community. There is no greater feeling than helping kids who are at a disadvantage and seeing the smiles on their faces during it.
Part of the game I enjoy most:  I love the nerves that I get before playing and the intensity/pressure during a close game.
My role model is:  My mom because she always knows what to say after a game, despite a win or a loss. She rarely misses a game, and I love seeing her in the stands.
Music that gets me pumped before games:  I listen to such a mix of music before games, but there is a lot of Twenty One Pilots, G Eazy, and, of course, some quality throwbacks.
Favorite food:  Everything and anything with peanut butter
Favorite TV show:  One Tree Hill, Friday Night Lights
Four people I’d invite to a dinner party:  Ellen Degeneres, Chad Michael Murray, Skylar Diggins, and Gavin Degraw.

Mia Sherer – Senior at Souderton Area High School
A senior captain, Sherer not only was a positive presence on and off the court but also could be counted on to provide valuable minutes off the bench.
Note from the coach:
“Mia plays with a lot of intelligence on the court,” coach Lynn Carroll said. “I have complete trust that she understands what we’re trying to accomplish each game, especially on the defensive end.
“Off the court, Mia has been such a positive presence for our team this year. She is supportive and encouraging of her teammates and always has a smile on her face regardless what may have happened in the previous game or practice. When the outcome of the game doesn’t go our way, that kind of positive leadership is so important.”

About Mia:
Best memory playing basketball: All of the close and exciting games we played against our rivals.
Part of the game I enjoy most: All the time I get to spend with my teammates on and off the court.
My role model is: My grandmother
Music that gets me pumped before games: Rap and Pop music
Favorite food: Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
Favorite TV show: Gilmore Girls & Friends
Four people that I’d invite to a dinner party: Adele, Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Lawrence, and my grandfather who passed away when I was young.
