Pennsbury vs. CR South
In a season like no other, the Pennsbury Swim and Dive team competed in their first ever virtual meet on Friday, 1/22/21, against Council Rock South. Pennsbury swam and dove in their own pool, while CR South completed their events at their home pool (CR North). The results were then merged to determine victors. As expected, the meets were extremely close with the girls’ team edging out CR South 96-89 and the boys falling just short 89-94. This virtual meet set-up required the team to work together to create their own energy at the pool house. Not to be deterred, the Falcons could be found behind the lanes and along both sides of pool cheering on their teammates. The girls were led by event winners Avery Stimmel (50 FR), Karlie von Schmidt (diving), Maggie Sweitzer (100 FR), and Mackenzie Cicco (500 FR). The boys were led by double event winner Ryan Ward (200 FR, 100 BK) and single event winners Luke Parada (diving), and Jack Zisa (100 FR). Both teams benefited from big points scored in the relays, also. Additional strong performances were turned in by Valerie Lawton (100 BK), Jacob Cohen (50 FR, 100 FR), and Will Ferris (diving).

Girls: CR South 89 Pennsbury 96 (3-0)

Boys:  CR South 94 Pennsbury 89 (2-1)
