Pennsbury @ Souderton
The Pennsbury team wrapped up their dual meet season on the road Thursday, 2/4/21, against Souderton after the snowstorm at the beginning of the week. Both teams gave it their all but did not have enough to beat the Indians. The girls’ team lost their first and only meet of the season 87-98, while the boys fell 82-102. Standout performances included Maggie Sweitzer (200 FR), Anna Radzinski (200 FR), Mackenzie Cicco (200 IM), Valerie Lawton (50 FR, 100 BK), Shreeya Gounder (50 FR), Kassidy Georgevich (diving), Avery Stimmel (100 FR), Keira Walsh (500 FR), Jess Allen (500 FR), Reagan Ward (100 BK), and Neil Griesbaum (200 FR, 500 FR).

Girls:

Boys:
Souderton 102             Pennsbury 82 (3-3)

PHS Next Week:  This week begins the championship season for the Pennsbury team as they travel to Council Rock North for the SOL Patriot Division Championships. The divers will compete on Thursday, 2/11, while the swimmers compete Saturday, 2/13.

Pennsbury @ Bensalem
The Pennsbury swimmers traveled to Bensalem on Thursday, 1/28/21, and swam some fast times in the beautiful natatorium. Both teams improved their win records and raced hard. Great swims were posted by Gabby Kruczkowski (200 IM, 100 BR), Reilly McCloskey (100 BK), Maggie McVan (100 BK), Ryan Ward (200 FR, 100 BK), Jake Woodward (200 FR), Josh Cicco (50 FR, 100 BK), Dhanvi Shivadevuni (100 FL, 100 BR), and Nihar Kalikota (100 FR).

Pennsbury vs. CR North
The Pennsbury Falcons had their second of two virtual meets of the season on Monday, 1/25/21, merging results with Council Rock North. The girls’ team came out on top 95-90, while the boys’ team fell short 78-105. The merged results showed many close events determined by just hundredths of a second and tenths of a point in some cases. The girls picked up big points by winning all three relays and were led by individual event winners Mackenzie Cicco (200 IM, 500 FR), Kassidy Georgevich (diving), Maggie Sweitzer (100 FR), Valerie Lawton (100 BK) and Avery Stimmel (100 BR). The boys captured the medley relay and were led by double event winner Ryan Ward (200 FR, 100 BK) and Jacob Strockoz (100 BR). Additional standout performances included Kayla Schaffer (100 FR), Karlie von Schmidt (diving), Anna Radzinski (500 FR), Bryan Steele (200 FR), and Alex Radion (100 BK).

The Falcons also highlighted their senior athletes at the meet providing an Oscar worthy performance of recognition. Congratulations to the following Pennsbury senior swimmers: Charlotte Giacobetti, Reilly McCloskey, Hayden Rhoades, Paula Ribeiro, Avery Stimmel, Josh Cicco, Nihar Kalikota, Brian Kim, Jaden Sanner, Dhanvi Shivadevuni, Brian Steele, Ryan Ward and Jack Zisa.
