This week marked the beginning of the SOL National Conference competition season for the Pennsbury Falcons swim and dive team. The Falcons hosted across town rival Neshaminy in front of a packed crowd on Tuesday, Jan. 7. Many thanks to the swim and dive alumni who showed up to support the team. The Falcons did not disappoint as both boys and girls finished on top. The boys defeated Neshaminy 104-82 with 13 points contributed by the divers, while the girls took the win 110½-75½ with 12.5 points added by the divers. There were many close races throughout the meet, including the boys 200 medley relay team (Ryan Ward, Damian Szlaga, Dhanvi Shivadevuni, Will Deitch), Damian Szlaga (100 FL), Josh Cohen (100 BK), Reagan Ward (500 FR), Maggie McVan (50 FR), and Charlotte Giacobetti (50 FR).

On Thursday, Jan. 9, the Pennsbury teams traveled to Bensalem for another conference meet. The Falcons pulled another double win with both boys and girls teams defeating the Owls. The divers contributed big again with 15 points added by both the boys and girls. Impressive performances for the Falcons included Alex Radion (200 FR), Brian Kim (500 FR), Jack Zisa (100 BK), Genevieve Eirich (100 FL), Ashley Martillotti (100 FR), and Kenzie Hamer (500 FR).
