Dave Rackovan has resigned his position as Head Football Coach at Central Bucks High School South effective Wednesday, March 12. He is resigning as Athletic Director at Central Bucks High School South effective July 1.
Mr. Rackovan will be assuming the role as Head Football Coach and Director of Summer Programs at the Hill School, a nationally prominent boarding school in Pottstown, PA.
In Mr. Rackovan’s four years as the leader of the Athletic Department, C.B. South Athletics has played a prominent role in the Suburban One League, District 1, and at the state level. Mr. Rackovan has also led the resurgence of the football program. In his role as an educational leader, athletic leader, and coach, his diligent efforts have helped to foster success without compromising Central Bucks School District values. As a school community we are grateful for his service.
During the past four years, Mr. Rackovan has made a significant commitment to successfully completing two roles that consistently overlapped. The Hill School position allows him to refocus on one of his true passions.
