SHSHL Flyers Cup Preview

Scott Huff previews the Flyers Cup and the SOL teams that will be competing in the tournament.

Central Bucks South captured the Suburban High School Hockey League ‘AA’ championship last week with a 3-2 victory over Central Bucks East in the championship game.  The Titans will now attempt to defend their 2014 ‘AA’ Flyers Cup title as one of eleven SHSHL teams that are in competition for the 2015 Flyers Cup ‘AA’ championship.

The ‘AA’ play-in games and first round games will be played this week (see below).  The quarterfinals will be played next Monday (3/9/15) – the semifinals will be played next Wednesday (3/11/15) – and the finals will be played next Friday (3/13/15).

Wissahickon captured the SHSHL ‘A’ championship with an 11-4 victory over Truman.  The Trojans will be one of four SHSHL teams that are in competition for the 2015 Flyers Cup ‘A’ title.

The ‘A’ play-in games and first round games will be played this week (see below).  The quarterfinals will be played next Tuesday (3/10/15) – the semifinals will be played next Thursday (3/12/15) – and the finals will be played the following Monday (3/3/16/15).
