The 2015-2016 Suburban High School Hockey League has crowned regular season champions.

Central Bucks South [SHSHL Continental Conference – 16-0-0, 32]; William Tennent [SHSHL National Conference - 13-2-1, 27] and Harry S Truman [SHSHL American Conference – 14-1-0, 28) all earned regular season championships.

But those records transform back to 0-0 as the SHSHL playoffs begin on Monday (2/22/16) with the top eight seeds competing in the ‘AA’ division in the quarterfinals.  The semifinals will be played on Wednesday and the SHSHL playoff finals on Thursday.

The top four seeds squaring off in the ‘A’ division beginning on Wednesday (2/24/16) in the semifinals with the SHSHL playoff finals on Thursday.

P.S. – The 2016 Flyers Cup begins next Monday (2/29/16) with 11 SHSHL teams in the ‘AA’ field and 2 SHSHL teams in the ‘A’ field.

# 1 Central Bucks South Titans (16-0-0, 32) vs. # 8 Souderton Indians (5-11-0, 10)
@ Revolutions Ice Garden – 7:00 pm

Head To HeadCentral Bucks South won both SHSHL Continental Conference games with Souderton.  In the first meeting, the Titans defeated the Indians 6-0 and out shot the Big Red 41-11.  Damon DeLaurentis led the scoring with two goals, while goaltender Aaron King had 11 saves.  Dawson Anders played well in goal for Souderton with 35 saves.  In the second meeting, CB South routed the Indians 9-0.  Nick Moreli led the Titans with three goals, and King recorded the shutout with 10 saves.  Souderton goalie Joshua Smith came up with 37 saves for the Big Red.

# 4 Council Rock South Golden Hawks (12-3-1, 25) vs. # 5 Pennridge Rams (8-7-1, 17)
@ Revolutions Ice Garden – 8:45 pm

Head To Head:  Council Rock South and Pennridge battled to a 6-6 tie in the only SHSHL meeting of the season.  Pennridge out shot CRS by a slim 39-37 margin.  The Golden Hawk offense was fueled by a three-goal effort by Darren Barder, while Mason Procz collected 33 saves.  The Ram offense was paced by Troy Crosson, who scored a pair of goals, while goaltender Mike Weaver turned away 31 shots.

# 2 Central Bucks West Bucks (13-2-1, 27) vs. # 7 Pennsbury Falcons (7-9-0, 14)
@ Bucks County Ice – 8:20 pm

Head To Head:  Central Bucks West won its only SHSHL game against Pennsbury.  The Bucks broke open a 1-1 tie in the first period with four unanswered goals in the second period to secure the 7-4 victory.  CB West out shot the Falcons by a 32-24 margin.  Eric Schwass and Joe Anton each scored two goals to spark the offense, while Jonah Brous captured 20 saves.  Pennsbury had a two-goal outing by Jake Sieger to lead the offense, while Trevor Shadler had 25 saves in goal.

# 3 William Tennent Panthers (13-2-1, 27) vs. # 6 North Penn Knights (8-8-0, 16)
@ Hatfield Ice – 7:45 pm

Head To Head:  The meeting between the Panthers and the Knights was officially a 1-0 forfeit win for William Tennent as North Penn had used an ineligible player in the game.  On the ice, the Panthers and Knights battled to a 3-3 tie.  North Penn led 2-1 after the first period on goals by Alex Peterson and Derek Heckler – and William Tennent knotted the score in the third period on a goal by Alec Dugan.

# 1 Harry S Truman Tigers (14-1-0, 28) vs. # 4 Plymouth Whitermarsh Colonials (7-8-0, 14)
@ Grundy – 7:20 pm

Head To Head:  The Tigers won all three meetings with the Colonials this season.  In the first meeting, Michael Roarty scored four goals as HST captured a 7-3 victory.  In the second meeting, Steven Avellino scored four goals as the Tigers roared to an 8-5 win.  Chris Rinadli scored two goals for PW in the loss.  In the third meeting, Codey Gordon fueled the Truman offense with a three-goal performance in a 7-3 victory over the Colonials.  Rindali scored two goals in the setback for Plymouth Whitemarsh.

Head To Head:  The Indians won all three meetings with the Trojans this season.  In the first meeting – Daniel Guest, John Vanni, Cavan, and Chase D’Arcangelo each scored two goals to pace the Rock North offense in an 11-5 win.  Matt Wilson scored a pair of goals in defeat for WHS.  In the second meeting – Mark Tosti scored three goals to fuel the Rock North offense in a 6-5 victory.  In the third meeting, Rock North scored an 8-5 win.  Tosti and Vanni each scored two goals for the winners, while Kyle Wolf scored a pair of goals to pace the Trojan offense.
