Friday, Nov. 3
PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 9, SPRINGFIELD 1

Dylan Novitski and David Branigan each collected a hat trick and also had a pair of assists to lead the Colonials to the convincing win.
Novitski turned a Branigan pass into a goal in the opening moments of the game, and the Colonials were off and running. Less than three minutes later, Branigan found the net, using assists from Novitski and Jason Segal.
In the second quarter, the Colonials reeled off three straight goals by Branigan (Novitski/Ryan Jagher assists), Daniel Guller (Segal assist) and Branigan (Timothy Murphy) to go on top 5-0. Guller’s was a shorthanded goal. Springfield broke up PW’s shutout bid with a goal by Ronan Klein midway through the period, using assists from Marcel Camper and Gavin McManus.
The third period featured a pair of goals by Novitski  -the first with a Branigan assist and the second assisted by Segal and Jayson Yoder. Daniel Molony scored with assists from Isaac Mishkin and Luke Smith, and Guller connected on his second goal – this one on the power play – in the closing seconds of the game for the 9-1 final.
The Colonials held a 44-19 advantage in shots on goal.

Thursday, Nov. 2
NESHAMINY 3, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 3 (OT)

The Titans opened up a 3-1 lead in the second period only to watch the Redskins even the score. Neither team found the net in overtime and both were forced to settled for the 3-3 tie, a tie that was preserved by the 38-save effort of Neshaminy goalie Cory Hemberger.
The Redskins needed every one of Hemberger’s stops in a game that saw the Titans hold a 41-20 advantage in shots.
Neither team scored in the opening period, and the Titans went on top 2-0 with a pair of goals in the opening minutes of the second period. Jeffrey Kvecher scored with an assist from Jake Kunkle, and less than a minute later, Aidan Linso scored with a Colin Mendham assist.
Seconds later, Ryan DeMatteo cut that lead in half with an unassisted power play goal, but South’s Sean Cutter (Jake Stepp assist) took advantage of the power play to score a goal that put the Titans on top 3-1. Angelo Veneziale (Coleman Boles/Ryan DeMatteo assist) scored with 2:13 remaining in the period to make it a 3-2 game heading into the final period.
DeMatteo’s unassisted goal in the opening minute of the third period evened the score.
Neither team scored the rest of the way, although the Redskins – who were outshot 40-13 in regulation – held a 7-1 advantage in shots in overtime, but they could not convert those opportunities into goals.

HATBORO-HORSHAM/UPPER DUBLIN 8, ABINGTON 6
William Hurlburt’s four-goal, one-assist night led Hatboro-Horsham/Upper Dublin to a hard-fought win over Abington.
H-H/UD took a 4-2 lead in the opening quarter. Thomas Neeld (Darius Graziani/Francesca Gambino assists) opened the scoring, but Benjamin Biko (Marcus Paulik assist) answered for the Ghosts. Hurlburt’s unassisted goal was answered by a Davin Bates unassisted goal for the Ghosts to knot the score 2-2. Goals by Kevin McGinly (Hurlburt assist) and Hurlburt in the final 3:20 of the period gave H-H/UD a two-goal advantage.
That led grew to 6-2 after goals by Hurlburt (Kevin McGinly assist) and Cole Rosenthal (Julian Jadczak assist), but the Ghosts answered with back-to-back goals by Jude Large (Michael Romano assist) and Romano (Owen Adamski/Seamus Donofry assists) to make it a 6-4 game heading into the final period.
The two teams spent the final period exchanging goals with McGinly (Jayne Gamburg/Hurlburt assists) and Roman (Donofry assist) each scoring a goal. Then it was Hurlburt connecting for H-H/UD and Donofry scoring for the Ghosts for the 8-6 final.

BENSALEM 5, SPRINGFIELD 4
The Spartans led 3-2 after one quarter and still led 4-3 after a goal by Owen Quinn (Christopher Cahill assist) early in the third period, but Bensalem’s Alexander Hood (Alex Bazylevich/Cole Salayda assists) knotted the score. With 3:56 remaining in regulation, Matthew Rowan turned a Bazylevich pass into a goal that turned out to be the game winner.
Bazylevich’s five-point night (1 goal, 4 assists) led the Owls.
Earlier, Justin Rapone put the Owls on the board in the opening minute of the game, using a Bazylevich assist. Springfield answered with back-to-back goals by Gabriel Wells and Owen Quinn (Tyrel Defreitas assist) to go on top 2-1. Hood evened the score, using a Bazylevich assist, but Christopher Cahill found the net with 22 seconds remaining, using assists by Gavin McManus and Thomas Manchester.
Bazylevich (Hood assist) scored the only goal of the second period to even the score 3-3.
Coming up big for the Owls was goalie Ricky Gonzalez with 38 saves, negating Springfield’s 42-27 advantage in shots.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 10, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 0
Kevin Koles scored four goals and assisted on two others for a six-point game that led the Golden Hawks to the decisive win.
Blaize Pepe scored early in the first period, using assists from Evan Mostoller and Jonah Weston, and Chase Tovsky (Mostoller/Pepe assists) added a goal late in the period to give Rock South a 2-0 lead.
Second-period goals by Mostoller and Koles (Tovsky/Ilya Kudzinau assists) put the Golden Hawks on top 4-0.
The Hawks closed out the game with a six-goal explosion in the third period. Gavin Nisenzon (Koles/Pepe assists) scored in the opening minute, and then it was Koles connecting for his second goal, this one assisted by Mostoller and Jordan Sarne. Pepe’s unassisted goal was followed by Johan Weston’s power play goal that was assisted by Koles and Tovsky. Koles closed it out with back-to-back goals – the first a power play goal with assists from Weston and Tovsky and the second one unassisted.
Trevor Rakszawski turned away all 10 shots he faced in the shutout win in goal. Liam Rogers and Isaac Mayes combined for 54 saves in goal for the Bucks.

Wednesday, Nov. 1
WISSAHICKON 4, BENSALEM 3 (OT)

Daniel Hussa found the net with a power play goal with 4:09 remaining in overtime, propelling the Trojans to the dramatic win. The Trojans trailed 3-2 heading into the third period and needed a power play goal by Logan Honeycutt (Benjamin Raebiger assist) with 11 minutes remaining in regulation to send the game into overtime.
The power play was key for the Trojans, who scored three of their four goals when Bensalem was shorthanded.
Alexander Hood – whose hat trick led Bensalem – scored the only goal of the opening period. Alex Bazylevich had the assist. That 1-0 lead held until 9:54 remained in the second period when Joseph Gambino IV (Jack Raebiger assist) scored the equalizer on a power play.
Two minutes later, Raebiger scored with a Honeycutt assist. The Trojans first lead held for all of 24 seconds when Hood connected on an unassisted goal to even the score 2-2. Hood completed his hat trick with 33 seconds remaining in the second period to send Bensalem into the final period with a one-goal lead.
Keeping Bensalem in the game was another stellar outing by goalie Ricky Gonzalez, who turned away 49 of 53 shots head face. Wissahickon’s Fletcher Lynch earned the win in goal, recording 32 saves.
Wissahickon held a 53-35 advantage in shots – 5-1 in the overtime period.

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 4, PENNSBURY 0
Cole Breen turned away all 20 shots he faced in a strong outing between the pipes to lead the Patriots to the shutout win over the defending state runner-up Falcons.
David Brown scored the only goal of the opening period with 3:11 remaining, using a Kyle McIntyre assist. That goal stood as the game-winner.
In the opening minute of the second period, Corey Kosick scored with an Alex Wilson assist, and in the third period, the Patriots received goals from Drew Trask (Wilson/Braedon Hahn assists) and Ethan Cenci (Jaden Young/Charlie Keiser assists) for the 4-0 final. Trask’s goal came on the power play.
The Patriots held a 22-20 advantage in shots.

NORTH PENN 12, SOUDERTON 6
North Penn saved its best for last, closing out a tightly contested game with a 5-1 third period that gave the Knights the win going away. Nolan Shingle’s five-point game led a balanced attack and included three goals and two assists. Nicholas Smith also finished with a hat trick in a contest that saw seven different Knights contribute goals.
Seth Grossman’s goal less than a minute into the contest gave the Indians a short-lived lead. Shingle (Joseph Silvotti assist) evened the score just over a minute later when he connected on a power play goal, and his unassisted goal gave the Knights a 2-1 lead only to see Maxwell Ryon (Grossman assist) knot the score.
The Knights began to seize control of the game with back-to-back-to-back goals to open the second period to go on top 5-2. Silvotti (Cole Pluck/John Stinson assists) scored the first of the three and Samuel Norton added a pair – the first with assists from Shingle and Gabriel Dunn and the second with a Danial Cabrales assist.  
Souderton’s Benjamin Fadden broke the Knights’ run with an unassisted goal, but James Boyle (Cabrales assist) and Christopher Seward (Boyle assist) answered for the Knights, who went on top 7-3. A pair of goals by Nicholas Smith in the final 1:43 made it a 7-5 game after two periods.
The Knights opened the third period with goals by Thomas Sprague and Shingle before Smith scored to make it a 9-6 game. The Knights closed it out with three straight goals – one each by Joseph Silvotti, Boyle and Christopher Silvotti.

PENNRIDGE 7, COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3
The Rams used a stingy defense and a balanced offense to defeat the Indians. The two teams were deadlocked 2-2, but the Rams closed out the game with a 5-1 tear.
Early in the opening period, Nolan Shaw (Ian Brouse assist) and Kevin Pico (Andrew Savona/John Mikulich assists) scored back-to-back goals within a span of just over a minute. Jackson Accardi’s goal midway through the period trimmed the Rams’ lead to 2-1 after one period.
Accardi’s power play goal early in the second period with an assist from goalie Ian Goldberg knotted the score 2-2. James Rush answered with a power play goal for the Rams, using a Shane Dachowski assist. It marked the beginning of a 4-0 tear with three of those goals on power plays.
Included in that Pennridge run were goals by Tyler Manto (Mikulich assist), Savona (Dachowski/Rush assists) and Dachowski (Savona assist) to put the Rams on top 6-2. Nicholas Hahn turned an Ivan Bondra pass into a goal to make it a 6-3 game, but Savona connected for his second goal with an assist from Cole Anderson for the 7-3 final.
Jacob Winton earned the win in goal, turning away 23 shots. Goldberg was credited with 31 saves.
