Thursday, Feb. 15
CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 7, SOUDERTON 6

The Indians opened up a 4-0 lead after one period and still had a 6-3 lead early in the third period. The game turned out to be far from over as the Patriots rallied to score four unanswered goals to eke out the dramatic come-from-behind win.
The comeback began with a power play goal by Ethan Cenci (Charlie Keiser/Corey Kosick assists) with 13:24 remaining in regulation. It was still a 6-4 game until Jaden Young found the net with 3:05 remaining, using passes from Drew Trask and Gavin Widmer. One minute later, Keiser scored with assists from David Brown and Kosick.
Overtime appeared inevitable, but Gavin Widmer made sure that didn’t happen, scoring the game-winner with four seconds remaining with an assist from David Brown.
Earlier, Souderton appeared to be in command, reeling off four straight goals in the opening period. Maxwell Ryon scored his first of three goals in the period on a power play with assists from Matthew Malanga and Seth Grossman, giving the Indians a 1-0 lead. His second goal midway through the period was assisted by Nicholas Smith and Grossman. Then it was Grossman connecting on a power play goal with assists from Smith and Benjamin Fadden. Ryon’s third goal with 1:35 remaining with assists from Grossman and Caden O’Neill that put Souderton on top 4-0.
The Patriots answered with three straight goals to open the second period. Evan Asimakopoulos (Jaden Young and Alex Wilson assists) scored a power play goal, and then it was Kosick scoring back-to-back short-handed goals to make it a 4-3 game after two periods. Ryon’s fourth goal of the game – this one with a Grossman assist – gave the Indians a 5-3 lead heading into the final period.

Souderton’s lead grew to 6-3 after Ryon scored early in the third period, using assists from Smith and Fadden. The rest of the game belonged to the Patriots.
Kosick’s four-point game (2g, 2a) led the Patriots. The Indians were led by Ryon’s five-goal effort while Grossman also had a five-point game with a goal and four assists.

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 6, HATBORO-HORSHAM/UPPER DUBLIN 3
The two teams headed into the final period deadlocked 2-2. PW seized control of the game in the third period, outscoring Hatboro-Horsham/Upper Dublin 4-1.
After a scoreless first period, William Hurlburt scored back-to-back goals to open the second period – the first with assists from James Cortez and Nathan Nemchinov and the second with a Kevin McGinly assist. Jason Segal (Timothy Murphy assist) and Murphy (Daniel Molony and Segal assists) each scored a goal to even the score 2-2 after two periods.
Segal scored a goal that turned out to be the game-winner just over a minute into the third period. Murphy and Luke Smith assisted. A power play goal by David Branigan was assisted by Smith, and then it was Branigan scoring a short-handed goal with an assist from Brandon Wooldridge. Another Branigan goal, this one with an assist from Yoder, put PW on top 6-2 before Hurlburt connected on his third goal to close out the scoring, this one on a power play with an assist from Kevin McGinly.
Julian Lucks earned the win in goal for PW, turning away 21 shots.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 11, PENNSBURY 1
The Goldens Hawks led wire to wire, closing out the regular season with a no-doubt-about-it win for their 17thwin in 18 games.
The Hawks led 3-0 after one period, thanks to goals from Nikita Volobuiev, Kevin Koles and Illia Mukhin. They upped that lead to 4-0 on a goal by Jake Weiner before Pnnesbury got on the scoreboard when Logan Doyle scored with an Evan Eisler assist. The Hawks answered with goals by Gavin Nisenzon, Jake Weiner and James DiLulio to close out the period on top 7-1.
In the third period, the Hawks closed out the game with goals by DiLulio, Koles, Nisenzon and Weiner for the 11-1 final
Rock South held a 50-18 advantage in shots.
Trevor Rakszawski earned the win in goal, turning away 17 of 18 shots he faced.

NORTH PENN 4, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 2
The Knights broke a 2-2 tie with a pair of third period goals to earn the hard-fought win. Samuel Norton scored a goal that turned out to be the game-winner just over three minutes into the final period, using assists from Cole Pluck and Nolan Shingle. With 3:28 remaining, Pluck added an insurance goal with assists from Shingle and Norton.
Earlier, Norton scored the game’s first goal six minutes into the opening period, using assists from Shingle and Danial Cabrales, and Brandon March evened the score with a goal using assists from Nicholas Bruno and John Cherubini.
Luke Haftel scored to give the Knights a 2-1 lead with assists from Chase Kelly Del Ricci and Derek DeLong. West’s Adam Ricci found the net with an unassisted goal to send the two teams into the third period deadlocked 2-2.
The Knights held a 41-17 advantage in shots.

Ian Goldberg was on top of his game in goal, turning away all 22 shots he faced to lead the Indians to the shutout win.
Michael Booth scored a goal that turned out to be the game-winner five minutes into the opening period. Sean Davies had the assist.
In the second period, the Indians added three more goals. Jackson Accardi’s short-handed goal with a Nicholas Hahn assist was followed by a power play goal by Michael Smith (Hahn and Accardi assists). Accardi added a goal with Michael Booth and Hahn assists to put the Indians on top 4-0.
Hahn’s unassisted goal in the third period closed out the scoring.

Springfield took a 3-1 lead after one period and never looked back on the way to their third win of the season.
Michael Romano’s unassisted goal spotted Abington a 1-0 lead, but Springfield responded with three unanswered goals to close out the period. Christopher Cahill, Gabriel Wells and Grayson Quinn each scored an unassisted goal.
Back-to-back goals by Gabriel Wells and Owen Quinn in the second period gave Springfield a 5-1 lead heading into the final period.
Devin Bates scored with an assist from Owen Adamski to make it a 5-2 game, but Grayson Quinn turned a pass from Wells into a goal, and Springfield led 6-2. Seamus Donofry (Jamison Donofry assist) scored to make it a 6-3 game, but Owen Quinn got that goal back to close out the scoring, using assists from Thomas Manchester and Christopher Cahill.
Springfield held a 35-19 advantage in shots.

Hatboro-Horsham/Upper Dublin led 3-0 after one period and then brought an early end to the game with a nine-goal second period.
Victor Wilkins scored with assists from Reid Rochestie and Lucas Platt just over two minutes into the first period – the goal turned out to be the game-winner.
William Hurlburt six-point game (3g, 3a) led Hatboro-Horsham/Upper Dublin. Wilkins (3g,1a) and Thomas Neeld (3g, 1a) both had four-point games while James Cortez (1g,2a) and Rochestie (1g,2a) each contributing three-point games. Jonah Fisher and Lucas Platt both had a pair of assists, and Cole Rosenthal had a goal and an assist.
Hatboro-Horsham/Upper Dublin held a 54-9 advantage in shots.
Eric Miller was credited with nine saves in the shutout win.
