'Softball Our Way' Softball Camp

Pennsbury coach Frank McSherry (32 years) and Bristol coach Mike Lalli (29 years) are two of the area’s most successful softball coaches, and for the first time, these veteran coaches will combine their many years of experience to present a softball camp. The camp – ‘Softball Our Way’ - is for girls 8-14 and will be held at Charles Boehm Middle School, Big Oak Road, Lower Makefield, Pa., from June 30 to July 3.

The softball camp will provide the best professional instruction for campers of all skill levels in a fun-filled and competitive environment. The emphasis will be on individual skill development in all parts of the game and the opportunity to incorporate those skills in game-like situations. Campers will be placed with others of similar age and skill level.

Camp features include elite coaching and skill development with education on game fundamentals to teach every camper the strategies and game knowledge necessary to better understand the game. Every camper will receive instruction in each position and game situations. Campers can expect to receive skill development in:

  • Throwing
  • Catching
  • Hitting
  • Bunting
  • Pitching
  • Mental Aspects
  • Base Running
  • Sliding Fielding
  • Rundowns
  • Cutoffs
  • Relays

Each player will receive detailed evaluation and recommendations for continued improvement. There will be scheduled game competition each and every day of camp with skills competitions at the end of camp with awards.
