UPPER DUBLIN 6, WISSAHICKON 3
Dane Nealis had a big day at the plate, and Matt Matricardi threw five strong innings on the mound to earn the win for the Flying Cardinals.
Nealis had a pair of doubles and two RBIs while Matricardi also had a pair of RBIs. Bryn D’Andrea and Morey Hershgordon both contributed one RBI.
For the Trojans, Randy Frankenfield led the way with a double and three RBIs. Nick Falso had three hits of his team’s six hits, and Greg McDonough had a pair of hits.
The Trojans took a 2-0 lead in the top of the second, but the Cards answered with a pair in the bottom of the inning. They won the game with a four-run fifth inning.
The win was the second in as many days for the Cardinals, who are 3-6 in the league (3-9 overall). The Trojans are 5-4 in the league (6-5 overall).

NORTH PENN 3, SOUDERTON 1
The Knights celebrated Community Night at the Ballpark by notching a 3-1 win over neighboring Souderton under the lights at Hostelley Field.
The Knights scored single runs in the second and third before the Indians plated their only run in the fourth. North Penn tacked on an insurance run in the fifth for the 3-1 final.
Bobby Scott led the Knights with a 2-for-3 effort that included a solo home run. Chris Kersey delivered a pair of sacrifice flies to plate the remaining two North Penn runs. Ryan Erskine had a double and scored a pair of runs. Zillur Rahim also had a double for the Knights.
The Indians, who held a 9-5 advantage in hits, were led by the two-hit effort of Brad Stoltzfus, who drove in his team’s only run. Brian Gibbs absorbed the loss on the mound.
Brian Maher notched the win, scattering eight hits and allowing just one run in 4.1 innings of work. He walked a pair. Dylan Borawski earned the save, working 2.2 scoreless innings while allowing just one hit and walking two.

PENNRIDGE 10, CHRISTOPHER DOCK 1
The Rams scored two runs in the first, four more in the second and two in the third to seize early control of Friday’s non-league game.
Jason Prasse earned the win on the mound, striking out five and walking none in two innings. He faced just seven batters and did not allow a hit. The Rams used five pitchers that combined for 11 strikeouts and no walks.
The Rams were led by the multi-hit performances of Eric Wesolowski (2-for-5, double, RBI) and Jeff Roedell (2-for-5). Also contributing RBIs for the Rams were Joe Unangst, Tyler Shoultes, Ben Schweitzer, Prasse and Evan Tice.
The Rams upped their overall record to 8-4.

HATBORO-HORSHAM 6, CHELTENHAM 5 (10 innings)
Tyler Markovic threw five shutout innings in relief to earn the win, and sophomore Kevin Barron delivered a walk-off hit to lead the Hatters to Friday’s come-from-behind non-league win.
Markovic allowed just two hits and two walks while fanning five, and his standout effort allowed the Hatters to battle their way back into the game. The Hatters took a 2-1 lead into the fifth when the Panthers exploded for four runs to go on top 5-2. Hatboro got one of those runs back in the bottom of the inning and then plated two runs in the seventh inning to knot the score. Ryan Kelly scored the tying run on Mike Maimone’s sacrifice fly to left field.
In the 10th inning, Chris Crookham drew a leadoff walk and advanced to second on Chris Naiberk’s sacrifice bunt. Barron then hit a ball in the gap to win it for the Hatters.
Naiberk was 2-for-3 with two walks, and Zach Brenner was 2-for-4 with an RBI and a walk. For the Panthers, Brett Bernstein was 2-for-6 with a run scored, and Matt Lawlor was 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBIs and two doubles. Marshall Salem had a double and RBI.
The Hatters are 7-6 overall while the Panthers are 8-4.

NESHAMINY 10, BRISTOL 0 (6 innings)
The Redskins scored early and often in Friday’s non-league win over the Warriors, plating two runs in the first, one more in the second and three on the third to go on top 6-0 on their way to the big win.
Justin Andrews (2-for-4, double, one run scored, 2 RBIs) and Tom Kreiling (2-for-4, double, one run scored, 2 RBIs) led the Redskins 10-hit attack.
The Warriors managed just two hits off the trio of Clay Snyder, Joe Ziegler and Tom Kreiling, who combined for the shutout.
The Redskins improved to 11-2.
