CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 8, SOUDERTON 7
The Titans edged the Indians in a thriller on Friday night. The teams went into halftime deadlocked 2-2, and it was still a 5-5 game heading into the final quarter as both teams scored three goals in the third quarter.
The Titans capitalized on several Souderton penalties early in the fourth quarter to take an 8-5 lead on goals by Anthony Paone, Tommy DiBrino and Brendan McGrath. The Indians mounted a comeback, answering with two late goals, the last by Cameron Trick with two minutes to play to make it an 8-7 game.
The Indians had several opportunities in the last two minutes but were unable to capitalize, thanks to a stout Titan defense led by Tim McCrudden, Connor Bechtel, Kevin Witchey and Ryan Sullivan.
The Titans balanced offense was led by Jake Henze with one goal and two assists. Ty McGee, Tom Dibrino and Brendan McGrath each added two goals. Paone was a key to the win, leading the team with seven ground balls, scoring once and dominating face-offs, particularly down the stretch.
Souderton’s Tyler MacDougal led all scorers with three goals and three assists. Trick added two goals and one assist, and Ridge Schultz had one goal and one assist. Frank Caccavo had one goal, and John Rice had one assist.

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 16, PENNRIDGE 9
The Patriots upped their record to a perfect 8-0 after Friday night’s win over the Rams at War Memorial Field. The Patriots – led by the five-goal, three-assist effort of Matt Milici – held a 40-21 advantage on shots.
Matt Heim added four goals, Anthony Casselli, three goals and Matt Schmidt, two goals and four assists. Geoff Kuhn, Matt Brown and Cole Rushworth each had one goal. Kuhn also had an assist, and Zach Kane added a pair of assists.
Cole Rushworth won 18-of-25 face offs, and Milici had a team-high seven ground balls. Jack Bauer and Will Dempster had three ground balls each.
For the Rams, Steven Puras contributed the hat trick and led the defense with seven ground balls. Eric Fernandez had two goals and two assists, and Ethan Clemmer, one goal and two assists. Matt Brown (one assist), Griffin Wenger and Alex Heimbach each had one goal. Dan Lohan turned away 13 shots.
The Rams fell to 1-6.

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 16, NORTH PENN 8
Jimmy Seykot led the Bucks with five goals and one assist while Riley Kratzke had three goals and one assist. Ryan Green contributed two goals and two assists, and Max Campbell, Jason Willis, Clark Hawes, Corey Schott, Jimmy Steigerwald and Kyle Schechter all had one goal. Hawes also had a pair of assists.
North Penn received single goals from Adam Wreath, Kyle Haenig, Alex Kopocho and Luke Homan while Nick Tornetta had a pair of goals.
The Bucks held a 32-28 advantage in shots.
West’s Matt Harvan turned away 15 shots in goal, and Steve Hogan had two saves. North Penn’s Chris Barr had 11 saves and Mark Eder, two saves, for the Knights.

HATBORO-HORSHAM 12, NORTH PENN 2 (Thursday, April 11)
The Hatters upped their SOL record to 3-0 after Thursday’s convincing win over the Knights. Jimmy Murphy and Ryan Higgins led the Hatters with four-point days. Murphy had four assists, and Higgins had two goals and two assists. Zach Erwine and Connor Kreston both contributed the hat trick. Steve Palo, Kyle Mullen, Ben Cellini and Pierre Armstrong each added single goals. Jimmy Durkin had one assist.
Jake Cresta and Matt McPoyle led the Hatters defensively with three ground balls each.
Goalie Marc Poust anchored a standout defensive effort, turning away all seven shots he faced. Kurt Dick turned away seven of nine shots. Also making major contributions on defense were Jake Cresta, Matt McPoyle, TJ Keleher, Keith Cameron and Jack Lavery.
While the Hatters improved to 3-0 in the league, the Knights fell to 0-5.

UPPER MERION 15, CHELTENHAM 0 (Thursday, April 11)
Trevor Kupecky led the Vikings with a seven-point afternoon, contributing three goals and four assists. Mike Zadroga had two goals and four assists, and Joe Mintzer added five goals. Nick Shendge and Tyler Thornton both had one goal and one assist. Steve Ferguson, Chris Jordan and Paul Salamy each had one goal.
The Vikings improved to 4-2 in the league while the Panthers are 0-4.
