NORRISTOWN 13, CHELTENHAM 0
Propelled by the eight-point games of Sean Calhoun and Drew Baltus, the Eagles picked up their first win of the 2013 campaign.
“It’s been tough,” coach Jeff Calhoun said. “Keeping them up is the hard part, and keeping me up is the hard part too.
“This means everything. It makes them feel really good.”
Sean Calhoun led the Eagles with five goals and three assists while Baltus had three goals and five assists. Tyeler Kingkiner added two goals, and Mike Smith had one goal and two assists. Carson Lucard and Ethan Sylvester each contributed a goal, and James Perkins had an assist.
Coach Calhoun tipped his hat to several of his players.
“Sean (Calhoun) has always been on the page,” the Eagles coach said. “There are guys that have been there every day busting their butts – Mike Smith, Tyeler Kingkiner.
“My goalie Sean Myers and my defense – Brandon Smith, Cody Baker and Anthony Mitchell are there every day. They played in all the games. They’re just trying real hard and doing the best they can. This makes it a little easier to come to practice tomorrow.”

WISSAHICKON 15, UPPER MORELAND 1
Tommy Monaghan and Cole Kropnick both contributed hat tricks to lead the Trojans, who opened up an 11-0 halftime lead on their way to the big win. Luke Gomez, Nate DeGroat and John Carrozza each had two goals. Alex Chiodo-Ortiz, Austin Jones and Jack Shea all had one goal and one assist.
Billy Costello accounted for the Golden Bears only goal.
Wissahickon goalie Tyler Freas had seven saves while Upper Moreland’s Matt McGlinsey had three saves.

ABINGTON 20, PENNSBURY 3
The Ghosts served notice that the National Conference crown once again goes through Abington, thanks to its decisive win over the defending conference champion Falcons.
Will Dulin led a balanced attack with five goals and five assists, and Hunter Jones added five goals and three assists. Also contributing to the attack were Brian Gallagher (two goals, two assists), Joe Lomady (two goals, one assist), Gus Greenberg (one goal, one assist), Joe Bisaquino (two goals), Cam Leech (one goal), Matt Gormley (one goal), John Wink (one goal) and Austin Pifani (two assists.).
Pifani led the defense with seven ground balls while Lomady added five.

HATBORO-HORSHAM 12, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 7
The Hatters upped their conference winning streak to five games. Ryan Higgins (four goals), Kyle Mullen (two goals, one assist) and Ben Cellini (two goals, one assist) led the Hatters offensively. Jake Durkin, Zach Erwine, Connor Kreston and Jimmy Murphy each scored one goal. Erwine and Durkin also contributed two assists each.
Jake Cresta, TJ Keleher and Keith Cameron, along with goalie Marc Poust, held the Bucks to just two second-half goals. Poust was credited with eight saves on 15 shots.
For the Bucks, Riley Kratzke scored four goals, and teammates Corey Schott, Kyle Schechter and Ryan Green each added one. Schechter and Jimmy Seykot each had an assist.
Mike Harvan was credited with 11 saves in goal for the Bucks.
In a contest featuring two of the area’s biggest rivals, the Hatters (6-2, 5-0 SOL) will host Central Bucks East on Thursday at 7 p.m.  Both teams enter the game undefeated in the league.

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 10, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 6
The Titans led 3-2 at the end of one quarter and took a 4-2 lead into halftime before the Patriots exploded for eight second half goals.
Matt Heim led the Patriots with four goals while Zach Kane and Anthony Casselli each had two goals. Kane also had two assists. Matt Milici had one goal and two assists, and Geoff Kuhn added one goal and one assist. Matt Schmidt had three assists.
Cole Rushworth won 13 of 20 face offs. Sean McGovern had 13 saves in goal while Pete Donavan (five ground balls), Will Dempster (four ground balls), Dustin Buchanan (three ground balls, two caused turnovers) and Matt Heim (three ground balls) led East’s defense.
For the Titans, Tyler McGee had two goals and one assist, and adding single goals were Brenden McGrath, Tyler Strayline, Joel Zimmerman and Jake Henze. Tom DiBrino had one assist. Connor Bechtel had a game-high nine ground balls, and Kevin Witchey had six ground balls. Ryan Kelly had 12 saves in goal for the Titans.
