Abington 14, Downingtown East 10
Abington opened up a 4-1 lead at the end of one quarter only to watch the Cougars rally to knot the score 7-7 by halftime of Saturday’s non-league game at the Katie Samson Festival at Radnor High School. The Ghosts outscored East 4-2 in the third quarter and held a 3-2 edge in the final quarter as they went on to earn the win.
Matt Rambo led the attack with four goals while Rich Rambo, Anthony Hensley and Joey Jones each connected for the hat trick. Nick Pisko added a single goal to close out the scoring.
