Central Bucks East 7, Holy Ghost Prep 6
The Patriots found themselves staring at a 2-1 halftime deficit and still trailed by one at the end of three quarters (3-2). Things picked up in a fourth quarter that saw the Patriots rally to knot the score as they outscored Holy Ghost 4-3. They won it on the first overtime on a goal by Matt Brodzick with an assist from Rob Ferrall.
The Patriots received strong defensive play from Weston French, Parker Rushworth, Zac Bitzer, Kyle Andress and Ryan Andress.
Brodzick finished the game with two goals and two assists while Brian Urban had two goals and one assist. Alex Fetterman and Connor McSherry both contributed a goal and an assist. Parker Self added one goal, and Rob Ferrall had one assist.
Harrison Holak turned away seven shots in goal.
East – which held a 37-21 advantage in shots - improved to 9-1 while Holy Ghost Prep is now 8-2 on the season.
