Wissahickon 7, Plymouth Whitemarsh 6

The Trojans jumped out to a 4-1 halftime lead but then had to hold on for the one-goal win in Tuesday’s American Conference thriller.
“It was hard fought on both sides of the ball,” Wissahickon coach Anthony Gabriele said.
Brian Dick led the Trojans with four goals and one assist. Shane Ziegler added two goals, and A.J. Anderson had one goal to close out the scoring. Brian Frankenfield and Nick Lucchesi each had a pair of assists while Jeff Gebert had one assist.
For the Colonials, Zack Schulman had three goals and one assist. Colin Joka added a pair of goals, and Pat Nolan had one goal while Shawn Kaplan had a pair of assists.
Trojan goalie Sean Smith turned away seven shots while his counterpart, Kevin Hennessy, had eight saves.
Pennsbury 19, Harry S. Truman 1
The Falcons received goals from nine different players, and 14 of the 19 goals were assisted. Pennsbury was led by Josh Caven (six goals), Andrew Probst (three goals, two assists), Calvin Hopkins (two goals, one assist), Ryan McDonald (two goals), Ricky Jutkiewicz (two goals), Shawn Caven (one goal, one assist), Luke Matthews (one goal, one assist), Tim Considine (one goal, one assist), Justin Merola (one goal, one assist) and Evan Caterson (two assists).
Pennsbury is 5-1 in conference play and 11-1 overall. Truman is 0-5 in league play (2-9 overall).
Upper Merion 19, Norristown 3
Norristown received single goals from Sean Calhoun, Jake Naseef and Kristain Angelucci. Calhoun and Dan Staufenberg each had an assist.
Abington 15, Neshaminy 5
The Ghosts led 3-1 at the end of one quarter and extended their lead to 8-2 by halftime on their way to the decisive win. Joey Jones contributed four goals and four assists in a big outing. Nick Pisko also had four goals. Rich Rambo and Ryan Ambler both added a pair of goals while Matt Lomady, Eric Berger and Matt Rambo added one goal each.
Souderton 6, Central Bucks West 5 (2 OTs)
Bryan Ziegler scored his fourth goal off a ride with 1:39 left in the second overtime to give Souderton its first ever sweep of Central Bucks West. The Indians trailed 4-2 at halftime but rallied to take a 5-4 lead on J.P. Carroll's upper-corner shot with 4:47 in regulation.
 
The Bucks continued to play hard and tied the game with 35 seconds left off a rebound of a Grant Nice save to send the game to OT. Tanner Barbon continued to dominate face-offs for West, which also received an excellent game from goalie Jake Ross (18 saves). The Bucks won 11 of 14 face-offs.
 
Ziegler deflected a pass from a West defenseman, then sprinted to the goal and bounced a shot over Ross to clinch the fourth one-goal win for Souderton this season.
 
Also scoring for Souderton was Lee Stiles, and a strong defensive performance by senior defenseman Brad Sawhill, helped Souderton up its league record to 5-3 in the Suburban Continental Conference. (8-3 overall).
 
The Bucks received goals from Matt Adamski, Spencer MacQuarrie, Jimmy Mann, Evan Gervais and Johnny Kirchner. Adamski also had an assist.
 
West held a 26-21 advantage in shots on goal. Souderton’s Grant Nice turned away eight shots in goal.
