The Trojans celebrated Senior Night by clinching a share of the American Conference title with their win over the Golden Bears.
Nick Lucchesi led the attack with five goals and two assists while Garrett Rosiek had seven assists. Shane Ziegler had three goals and one assist, and Steve Carrozza, Jeff Gebert (one assist) and Christian Sivel each added a pair of goals. Brian Frankenfield (one goal, one assist), Brian Dick (one goal, one assist), Stu Blank (one goal) and AJ Andersen (one assist) closed out the scoring.
Trojan goalie Sean Smith was forced to make just three saves in the shutout while his counterpart had nine saves.
The Trojans closed out the regular season with a 12-2 record in league play (12-6 overall).
Central Bucks East 10, Council Rock South 4
The Patriots held a 4-2 lead at the end of one quarter and extended that lead to 6-3 by halftime on their way to the big win on Senior Night.
Alex Fetterman and Brian Urban (two assists) both scored the hat trick to lead East. Parker Self added a pair of goals while Ben Auteri (one assist) and Matt Brodzik (two assists) each added single goals. Rob Ferrall had two assists, and Conor McSherry and Sean Reilly both had one assist.
Harrison Holak had six saves in goal for the Patriots, who held a 46-12 advantage in shots.
The Patriots closed out the regular season with a 14-2 record.
Pennsbury 15, Harry S. Truman 3
The Falcons closed out their regular season with a 15-3 win over neighboring Truman, opening up a 6-0 lead at the end of one quarter and extending that to 9-1 by halftime.
Eight players contributed scoring for the Falcons – led by Josh Caven (two assists) and Collin Sullivan with three goals each. Mike Constantini (three assists), Ricky Jutkiewicz and Kyle Brennan each connected for a pair of goals while Calvin Hopkins (three assists), Dan Caggia and Paul Meier all added single goals. Shawn Caven contributed a pair of assists while Pat Bonnot, Brandon Coppotelli and Sean Rinko each added an assist.
Truman received single goals from Jeremy Ghost, Steve Bruse and Jake Sullivan.
Phil Jutkiewicz turned away four shots in goal for the Falcons while Tyler Brennan had 14 saves for the Tigers.
The Falcons closed out their regular season with a 16-2 record – the best record in the program’s eight-year varsity history.
