SOL Boys' Lacrosse Wrap: 5-4-10

Wissahickon 19, Norristown 2

Wissahickon jumped out to an early lead and never looked back on its way to the decisive win, but the Eagles never quit battling, according to Trojan coach Anthony Gabrielle.
Brian Dick contributed five goals and an assist to lead the Trojans while A.J. Andersen added four goals and one assist. Shane Ziegler and Nick Lucchesi (one assist) both contributed the hat trick, and Brian Frankenfield added two goals. Garrett Rosietk had one goal and four assists while Christian Sivel had one goal. Ward McMasters and Stuart Blank both contributed assists.
The Eagles received single goals from Sean Calhoun and Kristain Angelucci while Dan Staufenberg had assists on both goals.
Goalie Sean Smith was credited with three saves for the Trojans, who improved to 10-0 in the league (10-3 overall).
Souderton 13, Central Bucks South 3
Senior Lee Stiles led all scorers with a seven-point night (five goals and two assists) in Souderton's big win over the Titans. Ridge Schultz added three goals, Bryan Ziegler scored two goals while Tim McIlhenny scored one goal and Matt Markow added a goal and an assist. Grant Nice and Jake Rivera split time in goal for the Indians, who matched their single-season record for wins with 10. The Indians are 10-3 overall (7-3 in the SOL).
Abington 16, Council Rock South 4
The Ghosts sprinted to an 11-2 lead at the end of one quarter and led 14-2 at the intermission on their way to a big win over the Golden Hawks.
Matt Rambo had four goals while Ryan Ambler had three goals and four assists to lead the Ghosts. Matt Lomady added a pair of goals, and Nick Pisko, Paul Berger, Anthony Hensley, Brian Stutz and Gage Gormley each added single goals. Hensley also had three assists while Jeff Tepel had a pair of assists.
South received single goals from four different players – Chichken, Curry, Reichenback and Finor.
Anthony Grego led the Ghosts in ground balls with nine while Finor had six for Rock South.
Upper Dublin 12, Plymouth Whitemarsh 6
Patrick Nolan scored three goals to lead PW while teammate Colin Joka had two and Zack Schulman, one goal. Schulman and Nolan each had one assist while Shawn Kaplan also had an assist.  Goalie Kevin Hennessy had 16 saves for the Colonials.
Plymouth Whitemarsh 19, Upper Moreland 2 (Friday, April 30)
Colin Joka and Zack Schulman each scored four goals to lead the Colonials in Friday’s win over the Golden Bears. Shawn Kaplan, Shane Isett, Gryphin Kelly and Austin Timinski each had two goals while Patrick Kennedy, John Walker and Cory Kelly each scored single goals. Kaplan had a team-high five assists while Schulman, Nick Swift, Kelly and Dylan Wixted each had two assists. Kennedy and Joka both had one assist.
Goalie Kevin Hennessy recorded six saves for the Colonials.
