Non-league
BENSALEM 3, LOWER MERION 0

The Owls improved to 1-1 on the season with Friday’s non-league win. 
Veer Patel had 30 assists, with Jack Wineburg (7 kills), Jahaan Patel (6 kills 2 aces) and Bruce Bell (4 kills 2 blocks) all making plays at the net.  Parth Patel, according to coach Tim Linehan, played great with five kills and an ace. 
Bensalem plays Cheltenham at home on Monday. 

PARKLAND 3, PENNRIDGE 1
The visiting Rams won the first set but dropped the next three in a non-league match against an always tough Parkland squad.
Joe Rotonodo led the Rams at the net with 12 kills and three blocks. Thomas McKinney added six kills, six digs and three blocks, and Bryce Ammon also had six kills. Logan Jalosinski had five kills while Chris Cullen contributed three kills and four blocks.
Setter Evan Jalosinski was credited with 30 assists and two aces, and Ty Porter led the defense with 12 digs.
Pennridge (2-1, 2-0 SOL) will travel to Central Bucks South on Tuesday.

COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3, SPRING-FORD 0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-23)
The Indians rolled to sweep in Friday's non-league match against the visiting Rams.
Hunter Klein and Keertan Palayam both had eight kills to lead the Indians at the net. Gavin Kohler added seven kills. Anthony Lumma had a team-high three aces, and setter Devan Tiankee had 26 assists.
