SOL Boys' Volleyball Wrap (3-25-19)

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, AVON GROVE 0 (25-21, 25-7, 25-13)
The Patriots continued their torrid start to the season, rolling to the sweep in non-league action Monday.
The Patriots were led by a strong middle attack as Christian Wolf (five kills, one block) and Thomas Gallagher-Teske (six kills, eight blocks) led the way. Setter Steve Storm had 31 assists, five aces and five digs while directing the East offense. Dylan Colbert added 12 kills, three blocks and six digs.
East’s defense was led by Ryan Figus with 12 digs and Jacob LaBouliere with nine digs. LaBouliere added five kills and four blocks. Jack Miller excelled all around the court and had a kill to go with three blocks and four digs.

NESHAMINY 3, UNIONVILLE 0 (25-21, 25-23, 25-17)
The visiting Redskins earned a sweep of the Indians in a non-league match. They received contributions up and down their lineup. Tony Camillo led the way with three aces, six kills and 10 digs. Matt Schwab added five kills and 10 digs while Jesse Marshall had two aces, five kills, two digs and two blocks. Ben Clendening added three kills and one block, and Paul Allen had one ace, two kills and three digs.
Setter Nick Storz had 23 assists to go along with two aces, two kills and six digs, and Jesse Kovaschetz led the defense with 16 digs and one ace.

CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 3, BENSALEM 1
The Titans traveled to Bensalem and earned a win in four sets.
“It was a competitive match with both teams giving their all and a fun match to be a part of,” South coach Matt Ehlers said.
Mason Zeo led the Titans with three aces and also had six kills and six digs. Jonathan Zonshein had five kills, two blocks, eight digs and an ace. Aidan O’Brien led the offense with eight kills, two blocks, three digs and two aces. Setter Andrew Rubas spread the ball around to all the hitters, finishing with 18 assists, three kills and three blocks. He led the way defensively with 12 digs.
The Owls were led by Basheer Ghafary’s 28 assists and three kills. A balanced attack was led by Paul Leible (10 kills, one block), Shiv Patel (eight kills), Jake Mottershead (seven kills, two aces) and Kyle McViccar (five kills).
