SOL American Conference

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, SOUDERTON 1
The Patriots rode some huge performances at the net as well as a relentless defense to earn the win over the visiting Indians.
Evan Blank and Reid Miller were a dangerous duo at the net with both contributing 16 kills. Blank also had 20 digs, one ace and two blocks while Miller had five blocks, two aces and seven digs. AJ Helveston had eight kills, three blocks, one ace and 10 digs, and Shane Sutton added seven kills and five blocks. Tommy LeFever finished with seven blocks, two kills and one ace. Setter Ryan Coxey had 40 assists, one kill, two blocks and five digs. Rhys Marshall led the Patriots’ defense with 23 digs and also had one assist.
For the Indians, Derek Stefanowicz had a big night, leading the Indians with 16 kills to go along with 13 digs. Everett Self also strong showing, contributing 11 kills, 18 digs and two blocks. Colton Musselman (8 kills, 8 digs), Justin Doppler (5 kills, 2 blocks, 2 aces), Connor Basile (11 digs) and Gio Ievolino (4 blocks) also made important contributions. Setter Kelly Kim had 38 assists and eight digs.
Central Bucks East (3-1, 2-0 SOL) will travel to Upper Dublin next Tuesday, and Souderton (2-3, 1-2) will host Central Bucks West on Tuesday.

PENNRIDGE 3, NORTH PENN 0 (25-16, 25-19, 25-15)
The Rams picked up their second win of the young season with a sweep of the Knights.
Setter Evan Jalosinski had 30 assists and two kills. He spread the ball around to Jude Rotondo (10 kills), Bryce Ammon (8 kills with a .429 hitting percentage, 5 digs), Logan Jalosinski (6 kills, .857, 2 aces), Aaron Ladd (5 kills, .625), Tyler Smith (5 kills, .625, 4 digs) and Matteo Cooper (3 kills, 1.000)
Pennridge (2-0) SOL) will host Central Bucks South next Tuesday, and North Penn (0-5, 0-4) will travel to Quakertown Tuesday.

UPPER DUBLIN 3, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 1
The Flying Cardinals received huge contributions up and down their lineup. The end result was a big win over the Titans.
“It was a balanced attack and great team effort,” UD coach Paul Choi said.
Cory Pendleton led the Cards with 12 kills, 16 digs and six aces while Gabe Copley added 11 kills and six blocks. Seamus Frayne had nine kills, seven digs and one ace, and Zakary Brown added nine kills, one ace, 10 digs and three blocks. Joseph Theodorson had five kills and two blocks. Michael Loose led the defense with 22 digs, and setter Scott Barenbaum handed out 39 assists and also had 11 digs.
Upper Dublin (3-1, 2-1 SOL) will host Central Bucks East next Tuesday, and Central Bucks South (1-2) will be on the road at Pennridge on Tuesday.

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, QUAKERTOWN 0 (30-28, 25-3, 25-13)
The Bucks won a fiercely contested opening set and then rolled to wins in the next two to earn the sweep.
Cooper Tyksinski led a balanced West attack with 10 kills while Dean Nguyen had eight kills and nine digs. Logan McHenry had seven kills, and Nick Anton added five. Caleb Woodring led the defense with 22 digs, and setter Liam Boyle dished out 30 assists.
Central Bucks West (3-1, 3-0 SOL) will host Dock Mennonite Academy Wednesday in a non-league match, and Quakertown (1-2, 0-2) will host North Penn next Tuesday.

SOL National Conference

BENSALEM 3, WILLIAM TENNENT 1
Bensalem defeated Willian Tennent on Tuesday.  The Owls were led by Jahaan Patel’s career high 20 kills. “I am very proud to see Jahaan perform like this today,” coach Tim Linehan said. “We demand a lot from him, and he produced in a big way today.”  
Yosuf Khan (12 kills 1 block), Dev Patel (12 kills 1 block) and Vraj Patel (3 kills 2 blocks) both made huge plays in key moments.  Roman Walsh (2 aces) and Shiv Patel (2 aces) kept the pressure on from the service line and Veer Patel (2 kills 3 aces) handed out 44 assists for the Owls, who improved to 5-0 as they head in spring break.
Bensalem will travel to Council Rock South next Tuesday.
