SOL Boys' Volleyball Wrap (4-11-14)

SOUDERTON 3, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 0 (25-15, 25-18, 25-18)
Evan Miller (10 kills, five blocks, four aces), Micah Godshall (eight kills, five aces) and Alex Androkites (eight kills, seven digs) led the Indians attack. Mitch Yerk (five kills, three blocks) and Sam Hess (three kills, four blocks) also made important contributions at the net.
Souderton upped its record to 5-2 in league play (5-3 overall)

NORTH PENN 3, QUAKERTOWN 0 (25-13, 25-18, 25-17)
The Knights received big performances at the net from Kyle Sucro (17 kills, three digs, four aces) and Gabe Stoler (11 kills, six digs, one ace). Eric Mellman also made his presence felt, contributing six kills and three blocks. Setter Mark Elias had two kills, 37 assists, three blocks, two digs and one ace. Jake Walters added three kills and five blocks, and Nate Malecky had four digs. Joe Grundy had one ace, and Darsh Bhalodia added one kill.
For the Panthers, Josh Morgan (10 kills, six digs) and Dylan Flor (seven kills, three digs) led the attack. Mike Dierolf led the defense with nine digs.
The Panthers will travel to Cocalico for the Eagle Challenge Tournament on Saturday.

PENNRIDGE 3, UPPER DUBLIN 0 (25-7, 25-12, 25-16)
Devon Rice had a big night at the net for the Rams, contributing 12 kills. Brian Rosenberg and Henry Savage contributed six and four kills respectively. Ben Chinnici had three kills and 11 digs. Jon Long (three kills) and Brandon Greb (two kills) also contributed at the net. Jesse Smith led the defense with 14 digs. Setter Brad Nase had 32 assists and two blocks.
The Rams are 6-1 on the season and return to action Monday night at Central Bucks West.

NESHAMINY 3, WILLIAM TENNENT 0 (25-20, 25-12, 25-19)
The Redskins continued their torrid start, upping their early season record to 7-0. Setter Chase Fullen had 30 assists and five kills. Ryan Jamison led the ‘Skins at the net with 12 kills, four aces and three blocks while Mike Gulla (seven kills, six blocks), Stephen Compton (six kills, four blocks, five digs), Den Inemer (five kills) and JP Fay (seven digs) also made important contributions.

CHELTENHAM 3, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 1 (21-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-22)
The Patriots lost a tightly-contested match to the Panthers. They were led by Henry Mallison with eight kills and 12 digs. Offensively, Jarred Minschwaner led the way with 10 kills to go along with nine digs and two aces. Chris Woolslayer added eight digs, two aces and four kills, and Brian Damone had six digs. Jake Staub and Mason Miller ran the offense, collecting 20 and 13 assists respectively.
