SOL American Conference

UPPER DUBLIN 3, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 1 (25-27, 25-6, 25-19, 25-11)
The Flying Cardinals dropped a hard-fought opening set but then rallied to win the next three to earn the conference win.
Cory Pendleton led the Cardinals’ potent attack with 16 kills to go along with 10 digs and one block while Zakary Brown had 14 kills as well as two aces, six digs and one block. Gabe Copley added 10 kills, six digs and five blocks, and Seamus Frayne contributed seven kills and four blocks. Setter Scott Barenbaum spent the match spreading the ball around to his many weapons, finishing with 47 assists, one kill and four digs. Dominick Plaku’s 13 digs led the defense. Michael Loose chipped in one assist and six digs, and Joseph Theodorson had two kills and one block.
For the Bucks, Dean Nguyen contributed six kills and 11 digs, Cooper Tykinski added five kills and five digs, Logan McHenry had five kills, and Nick Anton had four kills. Setter Liam Boyle handed out 20 assists, and Caleb Woodring’s 17 digs led the defense.
Upper Dublin (8-1, 7-1 SOL) is off until Thursday when the Cardinals will host Pennridge in a conference showdown. Central Bucks West (6-3, 5-2) will travel to Central Bucks East on Tuesday.

SOUDERTON 3, NORTH PENN 1
Derek Stefanowicz had a monster 21-kill night at the net, leading the Indians to the four-set win over the visiting Knights. He also had three digs.
Everett Self added 10 kills and three digs, and Colton Musselman had four kills and two aces. Setter Kelly Kim had 38 assists and three digs.
For the Knights, senior outside Cullen McCcan led the team with 16 kills, nine digs, and two blocks. Junior outside Max Reilly followed with 15 kills, 10 digs, and one block. Junior middle Jack Woodland chipped in eight kills and one block, and Shane McElroy added nine kills and two blocks. Sophomore opposite Kyle Park contributed seven kills and two block assists. Senior setter Aaron Birkmire dished 30 assists and junior setter Daniel Oh added 23 assists.
Souderton (4-5, 2-4 SOL) will host Pennridge on Tuesday, and North Penn (1-8, 1-7) will host La Salle in a non-league match Friday and will host Lansdale Catholic in a non-league match on Tuesday.

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 2
In another classic rivalry match between the sister schools, the Patriots edged the Titans in a grueling five-set match.

Ryan Coxey (29 assists, 2 ace, 1 block, 5 digs) and AJ Helveston (18 assists, 7 kills, 4 aces, 7 digs) shared setting duties. Reid Miller’s 15 kills and four blocks led the Patriots at the net. He also had four digs. Evan Blank added a double-double with 11 kills and 10 digs to go along with one ace. Shane Sutton also had a big night at the net, finishing with eight kills and six blocks. Kyle Knorr led the Patriots’ defense with 16 digs, two aces and two assists. Also making contributions were Tommy LeFever (3 kills, 1 dig), Rhys Marshall (2 digs), Josh Ostrander (4 aces) and Caleb Lyzinski (1 blocks).
Central Bucks East (5-4, 4-2 SOL) will host Central Bucks West on Tuesday, and Central Bucks South (2-4) will host Quakertown on Tuesday.

PENNRIDGE 3, QUAKERTOWN 1
The Rams stayed perfect on the season with their four-set win over the visiting Panthers.
Setter Evan Jalosinski dished out 30 assists and also had six digs. Bryce Ammon (10 kills, 5 digs, 2 aces) and Logan Jalosinski (9 kills, 7 digs, 4 aces) led a balanced Ram attack. Also contributing were Tyler Smith (4 kills, 5 digs, 3 blocks), Brady Fish (4 kills, 2 blocks), Matteo Cooper (3 kills, 2 blocks), Tyler Wolfgang (6 digs) and Ethan Vo (6 digs).
For the Panthers, Miles Longacre (7  kills, 1 block, digs) and Owen Reinford (6 kills, 1 block, 7 digs) led a balanced attack. Owen Williams added three kills and nine digs. Setter Sean Gillin finished with seven assists and seven digs, Alex Alfaro-Diaz contributed one kill, two aces, two assists and four digs. Quinn Costanzo’s 15 digs led the defense. He also had one kill. Tyler Moyer contributed one block, two assists and three digs.
Pennridge (7-0, 6-0 SOL) will compete in the Koller Classic at Central York High School on Saturday. Quakertown (1-6, 0-6) will travel to Central Bucks South on Tuesday.

Non-league
NESHAMINY 3, SOUTHERN LEHIGH 0 (25-18, 25-17, 28-26)
