QUAKERTOWN 3, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 1
The Panthers picked up their first win of the season with a hard-fought victory over the Patriots.
Josh Morgan had another big night for the Panthers, contributing 21 kills, nine digs and two aces. Dylan Flor added 10 kills, three aces and three blocks, and Mike Dierolf added five kills and four digs. Lucas Schan had four kills, and Coulton Terry added six blocks. Setter Xavier Villanueva had 39 assists.
The Patriots were led offensively by Jarred Minschwaner with 10 kills, four digs, two aces and an assist, Shawn Malone with nine kills and Chris Woolslayer with eight kills, eight digs and two aces. Henry Mallison dished out 18 assists and added eight kills and three aces, and Jake Staub added 13 assists, two digs and an ace. Matt Cascioli contributed three kills and an ace while Brian Damone picked up five digs.
The Panthers are 1-3 in league play while the Patriots fell to 0-3.

NORTH PENN 3, PENNRIDGE 0 (25-23, 25-21, 25-22)
The Knights knocked the Rams from the ranks of the undefeated on Wednesday night. Kyle Sucro led the way with 12 kills, one block, one block assist and two aces. Gabe Stoler (nine kills, one block) and Eric Mellman (nine kills, one block, two block assists, one ace) also had big nights at the net. Setter Mark Elias added three kills, 30 assists, one block and one block assist. Jake Walter had six kills, and Nate Maleckey had one assist and seven digs. Connor Sloan (two kills, one assist) and Joe Grundy (two digs) also contributed.
For the Rams, Kolby Smith (11 kills) and Alex Vellner (nine kills, four blocks, three aces) led the way at the net. Steve Braun led the defense with 20 digs.
The Knights (4-1) and Rams are both 3-1 in league play.

PENNSBURY 3, COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 1 (25-19, 23-25, 25-23, 25-20
Christian Zastazny had a big night for the Golden Hawks, contributing 27 kills, four blocks and four aces. Nick Christodoulou had six kills, one block and nine digs, and Jordan Deleo added six kills, two blocks and nine digs. Ross Sweed had four aces and seven digs.

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, UPPER DUBLIN 0 (25-14, 25-11, 25-20)
Christian Rupert (12 kills, three aces), Matt Hennigan (eight kills, five aces, 15 assists), Joel Klapper (eight kills) and Keith Saunders (five kills) led a balanced West attack at the net. Matt Douple was credited with 15 assists.

SOUDERTON 3, CHELTENHAM 0 (26-24, 25-20, 25-13)
Alex Androkites (nine kills, nine digs, two aces), Evan Miller (eight kills, four blocks, three aces) and Micah Godshall (seven kills, three aces) all made important contributions at the net for the Indians. Justin Rodzewich led the defense with eight digs.
The Indians upped their record to 3-1 in league play (3-2 overall).

WILLIAM TENNENT 3, ARCHBISHOP WOOD 0
Jake Milnazik led the Panthers with 13 kills and seven aces. Tom Del Conte added four kills and three blocks while Josh Ferguson and Nick Mackell each had three kills. Defensively, Dillon Cooney led the Panthers with 18 digs to go along with five aces.

COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3, HAVERFORD (25-12, 25-16, 25-20)
Austin Fuglestad (eight kills, four blocks), Nick Reich (seven kills, one block, one ace) and Josh Hinton (six kills, eight digs, three aces) all had big nights at the net to lead the Indians to the sweep of the Fords.
Andy Van Thuyne (16 digs, two assist) led the defense. Logan Fuglestad (12 assists, five digs) and Dalton Abrahamson (11 assists, three digs, one ace) shared setting duties.
Will Stollsteimer (five kills, three digs, one ace), Matt Pine (four blocks, one kill), Jason Yakimiv (three kills, three blocks), Will Deseutelle (two kills, two blocks) and Rick DePaola (six digs) also made important contributions.
The Indians are 1-3 overall (0-2 SOL).
