SOL American Conference

CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 3, SOUDERTON 0 (25-20, 25-21, 25-22)
The Titans had a score to settle when the Indians came to their house Tuesday, earning a sweep of a Souderton squad that last week swept the Titans.
South was led offensively by senior Ben Grove with 24 kills, four aces and some great passing and defense. Junior setter Gavin Roth had an outstanding night with 44 assists and very few mistakes. "The duo of Grove/Roth really shined tonight,” South coach Dave Schlosser said. “Junior outside hitter Jake Sciscio also really showed up for the team tonight. His 12 kills and solid serving definitely put us over the edge. It was his best match of the year. Everyone on the court contributed to the win.
“Middle hitter William Nothum contributed eight kills in the match and some key blocks. Senior Ryan Brennen ended the final point of the night with a perfect block to the floor to emphasize the win.

For the Indians, Derek Stefanowicz had 11 kills and nine digs, Colton Musselman added seven kills and four digs while Everett Self had five kills and nine digs, and Gio Iervolino added four kills and three blocks.
Central Bucks South (5-7, 4-7 SOL) will play Council Rock South tomorrow at home and will travel to North Penn Thursday. Souderton (7-10, 5-6) will travel to Upper Dublin on Thursday.

PENNRIDGE 3, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 0 (25-21, 25-21, 25-14)
The Rams notched their 11th conference win without a loss with a sweep of the visiting Knights.
Setter Evan Jalosinski handed out 25 assists. Leading the Rams at the net was Bryce Ammon with 14 kills, six aces and three blocks. Logan Jalosinski added nine kills, eight digs and three aces, Chris Cullen had six kills and three blocks, and Aaron Ladd added six kills and two blocks. Etho Vo contributed eight digs.
Pennridge (12-1, 11-0 SOL) will travel to Central Bucks West on Thursday, and Central Bucks East (9-6, 7-4) will celebrate its Senior Night on Thursday with a match against Quakertown.

UPPER DUBLIN 3, QUAKERTOWN 2 (25-19, 23-25, 23-25, 25-9, 15-10)
The Flying Cardinals won a spirited match with the Panthers, rallying from a 2-1 deficit to earn the five-set win.
Cory Pendleton had a huge night at the net, leading UD with 21 kills to go along with one assist, nine digs and one block. Zakary Brown added nine kills and 18 digs. Setter Scott Barenbaum dished out 40 assists and also had two kills, one ace and four digs. Michael Loose had a strong service game, contributing seven aces and seven digs. Dominick Plaku helped anchor the defense with 18 digs, two aces and one assist. Also contributing for the Cards were Joseph Theodorson (2 kills, 1 block), Potter Rudl (3 kills, 1 dig) and Sebastian Isaacs (2 kills, 1 block).
For the Panthers, Owen Reinford led the way with 13 kills, two blocks and 17 digs. Owen Williams added seven kills, one block and 13 digs, and Miles Longacre had seven kills, one block and six digs. Setter Sean Gillen had 29 assists to go along with two kills, one ace and two blocks. Quinn Costanzo contributed 17 digs.
Upper Dublin (11-2, 9-2 SOL) will host Souderton Thursday, and Quakertown (2-13, 0-11) will travel to Central Bucks East Thursday.

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, NORTH PENN 0 (25-22, 25-22, 25-23)
The Knights hung tough in all three sets, but the Bucks prevailed to earn the sweep.
Dean Nugyen led the Bucks with 10 kills and nine digs while Cooper Tyksinski had seven kills. Christian Woo added four kills and two aces. Ben Sullivan handed out 15 assists and had five aces, and Caleb Woodring had nine digs and two aces.
Central Bucks West (8-7, 6-5 SOL) will host Pennridge on Thursday, and North Penn (3-13, 2-9) will host Central Bucks South on Thursday.

SOL National Conference

ABINGTON 3, COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 2
The Ghosts edged the Golden Hawks in a grueling five-set match on Tuesday.
For the Hawks, who celebrated senior night, many players contributed, including outsides Ethan Harding (Sr) (4 Aces, 11 kills, 1 block, 11 digs) and Josh Cook (Fr) (4 Aces, 10 kills, 1 block, 6 digs), setters Chris Fyke (Sr) (15 assists, 2 kills, 15 digs) and Joey Bowman (Jr) (17 assists, 1 Ace, 10 digs),  liberos/DS Jacob Kramer (Sr) (1 assist, 15 digs), Tommy Fabrizio (Sr) (4 digs) and Jake MacArtney (Jr) (1 assist),  middles Adam Kirk (Sr) (2 Aces, 5 blocks, 5 kills, 3 digs), Spiros Meleas (Sr) (3 blocks, 2 kills) and  Igor Kovalev (Sr) (1 ace, 3 kills) and right side Stephen Rankel (Sr) (2 kills, 3 digs).
Abington (7-8, 5-6 SOL) will host Neshaminy Thursday, and Council Rock South (1-14, 1-10) will be on the road at Central Bucks South on Wednesday.

PENNSBURY 3, BENSALEM 1
In a battle of the SOL National’s top squads, it was the Falcons earning the four-set win.
Jahaan Patel (11 kills) and Vraj Patel (6 kills 1 block) led the Owls offensively.  Veer Patel (31 assists 13 digs 1 kill 1 ace), Luv Patel (17 digs 3 assitss), Billy Bibeck (4 kills 2 blocks), Yosuf Khan (4 kills 2 blocks), Roman Walsh (3 kills 7 digs) and Dev Patel (7 kills 6 digs 1 block) also played well for Bensalem.

Pennsbury (14-0, 11-0 SOL) will travel to William Tennent on Thursday, and Bensalem (14-2, 8-2) plays at CR North on Thursday.
