SOL Boys' Volleyball Wrap (5-1-12)

PENNRIDGE 3, NORTH PENN 1 (25-20, 25-21, 22-25, 25-18)
The Rams upped their record to 14-0 with Tuesday’s win over the Knights. Derek Rush led Pennridge with 16 kills and seven digs. Ryan Chinnici added 10 kills, 10 digs and three blocks while Erik Moyer had seven kills and seven blocks. Kalin Nelson had six kills and five digs while Christian Lizana led the defense with 15 digs. Austin McVaugh had 34 assists and four blocks.
The Knights fell to 7-5 on the season.

SOUDERTON 3, UPPER DUBLIN 0 (25-15, 25-14, 25-6)
Andrew Diesel led the Indians at the net with 12 kills while Tim Jones had 10 kills and two blocks. Chris Kluka had eight kills and six blocks, and Evan Miller added four blocks for the Indians, who improved to 10-3 in the league (11-4 overall). The Flying Cardinals are 2-10.

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 0 (25-20, 25-21, 25-14)
Christian Rupert led the Bucks with 14 kills. Joel Klapper (nine kills, five digs) and Connor Logan (eight kills, four blocks, three aces) also had big performances for West. Setter Matt Hennigan had 28 assists and three aces.
The Bucks improved to 11-2 while the Titans fell to 0-13 in the league (0-15 overall).

NESHAMINY 3, WILLIAM TENNENT 0 (25-23, 25-23, 27-25)
The Redskins celebrated Senior Night with a hard-fought sweep of the Panthers. Seniors Kody Naylor and Kevin Thomas came up big for the ‘Skins in the win. While the Panthers fell to 5-4 in league play (6-4 overall), the Redskins improved to 8-4.

QUAKERTOWN 3, CHELTENHAM 0 (25-15, 25-11, 25-19)
Ryan Mease (12 kills, three aces) and Nick Grossov (eight kills) led Quakertown at the net. Mike Whittington and Josh Morgan each added five kills. Nate Stout had 24 assists for the host Panthers, who improved to 6-9. Cheltenham saw its record fall to 1-11 in league play (1-14 overall).
