SOL Boys' Volleyball Wrap (5-3-12)

SOUDERTON 3, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 0 (25-19, 27-25, 25-13)
Chris Kluka (14 kills) and Tim Jones (nine kills) led the Indians’ attack in Thursday night’s win.
The Patriots were led by Kyle Dolf (19 kills, 10 assists), Nick Bennet (12 kills, six digs, two blocks), Trevor Clemens (16 assists, three digs) and Colby Tallia (seven digs).
While the Patriots fell to 7-7 in the league (8-7 overall), the Indians improved to 11-3 in the league (12-4 overall).

COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3, BENSALEM 0 (25-9, 27-25, 25-14)
Christian Kiselica (13 kills) and Garrison Lovely (11 kills) led the Indians at the net while Eric Stettner led the defense with 12 digs. Setter Dan Ford had 31 assists to go along with five kills. Chris Richards and Jeremy Higgins both added five kills. Higgins also had three blocks. Joey Viola added four kills and six digs.
The Indians upped their record to 10-2 while the Owls fell to 2-9 in the league (4-9 overall).

PENNRIDGE 3, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-21)
Kailin Nelson led a balanced Ram attack with 10 kills to go along with nine digs and three aces. Erik Moyer (seven kills, three blocks) and Ryan Chinnici (seven kills, two blocks) also had big nights at the net. Derek Rush added five kills and six digs, and Mike Bollinger had four kills. Christian Lizana had nine digs and three aces. Setter Austin McVaugh had 27 assists.
For the Bucks, Mike Fehrs had a big night, contributing 15 kills, three aces and six digs. Christian Rupert added seven kills, six digs and five blocks. Connor Logan led the defense with 11 digs. Matt Hennigan had 28 assists.
The Rams improved to 15-0 while the Bucks fell to 11-3.
NORTH PENN 3, QUAKERTOWN 0 (25-14, 25-17, 25-16)
Casey Fosbenner and Mike Whittington led the Panthers with five kills and two blocks each. Josh Morgan and Ryan Mease both added three kills. Mease also had eight digs. Nate Stout had 14 assists.

UPPER DUBLIN 3, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 0 (25-20, 26-24, 25-12)
Stephen Hunt (nine kills) and Aleck Mayhew (six kills, one block) led the Titans at the net. Kyle Zaluski added three kills and two blocks, and setter Nick Palumbo had 16 assists.
While the Titans fell to 0-14 in the league (0-16 overall), the Flying Cardinals improved to 3-10.

WILLIAM TENNENT 3, ABINGTON 0 (25-22, 25-15, 25-16)
Justin Keeny led the Panthers’ defense with 17 digs while Mike Sweeney had 11. Kenny Rauchut had 15 kills to lead the Panthers at the net while Brian Ebert added eight kills.
The Panthers are 6-4 in league play (7-4 overall), and the Ghosts are 3-9 in the league (5-9 overall).

PENNSBURY 3, COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 0 (25-8, 25-16, 25-18)
Pat Merrick (16 kills, .481, three digs, one block) and Sean Kropp (12 kills, one ace, eight digs) had big nights at the net for the Falcons. Chris Spano added six kills (.545 hitting percentage), five digs and one block. Setter Jeff Yasalonis had 38 assists, one ace, five digs and one block. Senior Dalton Zimmerman added five kills, one dig and one block. Neil Helsel had three kills, one ace, one dig and one block. John Killoran had two kills and five digs, and Spencer McCullough, one kill and one dig.
The Falcons improved to 10-1 in league play (11-1 overall) while the Golden Hawks fell to 0-10 in the league (2-11 overall).
