SOL National

NESHAMINY 3, BENSALEM 1 (21-25, 30-28, 25-20, 25-14)
The Redskins dropped the opening set but gained momentum with a hard-fought 30-28 win in the second set, going on to win the next two.
"Great team victory tonight against a tough Bensalem team,” Neshaminy coach Pat Klingerman said. “We finally put the pieces together tonight and came out with a massive win. Now we need to build off of the momentum moving forward into the playoffs."
Setter El-Mansu Sagalive dished out 32 assists and also had three aces, one kill, seven digs and two blocks. John Nice led a balanced attack with 14 kills, two aces, two digs and two blocks. Chase Nuttall added nine kills to go along with two aces and one assist. Brandon Sloskey had eight kills, two digs and three blocks. Also contributing were Toby Kovaschetz (7 digs, 2 assists), Jake Giuliana (1 ace, 1 dig), Beknazar Baiyshbekov (3 kills, 7 digs, 2 blocks) and Aiden Hastings (1 ace, 3 kills, 3 blocks, 1 assist).
For the Owls,
Jack Wineburg had 13 kills and four blocks.  Jahaan Patel had 10 kills and one block.  Veer Patel had 25 assists. The loss forced the Owls to settle for a tri-championship with Pennsbury and William Tennent.
Neshaminy closed out the regular season with a 12-6 record overall, 9-5 in the SOL. Bensalem ends the regular season at 17-3 overall and 11-3 SOL. 

WILLIAM TENNENT 3, COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 1
The Panthers clinched a share of the SOL National title with their win over the Indians.
David Dziekonski and Connor Tucholski led the Panthers at the net with 16 kills each. Sean Stewart added 15 kills and Sean Kelly, seven kills. John Ellis (2 kills) and Grady Keyser (2 kills) also contributed.
William Tennent closed out the regular season with a 12-6 record overall, 11-3 SOL.

 

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 1 (25-15-25-20, 23-25, 25-8)
The Patriots notched the win in Tuesday’s battle between the neighboring rivals.

Rhys Marshall directed the Patriots attack tonight, collecting 22 assists, 3 aces, and 4 digs. On the other end of those sets were Matt LaBouliere with 21kills (.459 kill %), 2 aces, 9 blocks, 7 digs and 15 assists of his own, Reid Miller with 19 kills (.500 kill %), and 4 blocks, and A. J. Helveston with 4 digs, a block, and 5 kills. Additionally, the Patriots had great play in the middle of the net from Justin Berger with 5 kills, and 5 blocks, Liam Donnelly, and Ethan Scott with a kill and 5 blocks. Additional contributions were given by Kurt Patel with a dig, and Pat Haurin with a dig and 2 kills. The Patriot defense was bolstered by Sean Figus who added an ace, Steve DiRugeris with 3 digs and an ace, and Aiden Leichter with 13 digs, an ace, and 4 assists.
For the Bucks, Dan Nguyen led the attack with nine kills while Oliver Hu added six. John Craine had four kills, Christian Woo, three kills. Caleb Woodring’s 11 digs led the defense. Setter Liam Boyle had 21 assists.

CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 3, QUAKERTOWN 0
The Titans ended their regular season with a straight set win over the Panthers.
On the Titans’ Senior Night, the team’s lone senior, Damion Lewis, had three kills, seven digs and an ace in the match. Ben Grove once again led both teams in kills with 11 followed closely by Josh Conley and William Nothum both with eight. All three setters did an excellent job distributing the ball. Josh Conley had 14 assists, Gavin Roth with 12 and Sam Snyder with 10. Conley also added a team high 11 digs in the contest. Will Tantum led the team is passing percentage for the match, and the season, topped off by 10 digs. Additionally, there was some great defense and passing from Chase Stribling off the bench.
CB South finished the regular season at 8-8, and Quakertown is 3-17.

PENNRIDGE 3, SOUDERTON 0 (25-20, 25-16, 25-11)
The conference champion Rams closed out another successful regular season with a sweep of the Indians.
Setter Evan Jalosinski had 37 assists. Jude Rotondo had 18 kills (.500 hitting percentage) and three aces in a standout effort. Logan Jalosinski (6 kills, 4 aces, 5 digs), Bryce Ammon (6 kills, 2 aces), Thomas McKinney (5 kills, 5 digs), Chris Cullen (2 kills) and Gavin Stayer (2 kills) also contributed at the net. Aaron Ladd had three aces, and Ty Porter had eight digs.
For the Indians, Nate Brown (6 kills, 4 digs) and Ian Nice (5 kills, 6 digs) led the attack. Derek Gilmore added three blocks and four digs, and Alec Kreiser had nine digs.

Pennridge will advance to the District 1 playoffs with a 13-3 record. Souderton is 12-7 overall, 9-5 in the SOL.

SOL American

UPPER DUBLIN 3, NORTH PENN 0
The Flying Cardinals honored their team’s four seniors – Cole Brown, Landon Kullmann, Terrell Turner and Ari Weiner – and then celebrated by sweeping the visiting Knights.
Brown handed out 22 assists and also had three aces. Turner led a balanced UD effort with nine kills, three digs and two blocks while Kullman had six kills and two digs. Seamus Frayne added four kills and two blocks, and Weiner had three kills, two aces and five digs. Upper Dublin is 13-4 overall, 10-4 SOL.
