Lower Moreland ran as a pack to take five of the top seven positions, prevailing over New Hope-Solebury. Senior Thomas Hellenbrand chalked up his third consecutive individual victory, pulling away from New Hope’s Owen Nettles in the final mile of the race.

The Quakertown Panthers boys’ cross country team (0-3) lost to Abington yesterday in the final home meet of the season. Junior John Juszynski, crossed the finish line in decisive fashion, winning in a time of 17:17. Juniors David Pyfer (18:26) and Chester Welliver (19:28), along with Senior Dominick Fritz (20:31), rounded out the top 10. The Panthers next race is next Wednesday (10/14) @ Hatboro Horsham.
